Choose a current (political, social, governmental, etc.) issue that you have strong opinions about for your topic. Write a poem, song, speech, or paragraph about your opinion on the matter, what should change, and why it should change. Creatively and artistically convince the reader that you are right. Here are some examples on what you could write about: the school system, sexism, racial injustice, LGBT rights, gay marriage, people in political power, war, care for the homeless, terrorism, school shootings, etc. Be as truthful and brutally honest as possible but still treat the topics, opinions, and people in regards to it with respect.
