After a long, tiring and very rushed morning Jade and Hana sat side by side on the plane ride through and over the snow tipped mountains, both sipping coffee as they talked back and forth half the time and then sleeping half the time until they finally landed in Lythikos – Olivia’s home front. As they exited the plane and headed to the Nevrakis Chateau Jade couldn’t help thinking about what Olivia was going to do to make her stay there the least comfortable. She knew deep down that Olivia didn’t like her and she knew that there was a history with Liam and Olivia but she knew that she would just have to play it cool. “Welcome to Lythikos, the land of ice, snow and of course the tall mountains that we luckily didn’t crash into on the way in.” Maxwell stated as they all started to walk together and he explained that there would be plenty of time to take part in the festivities that would be going on here during their stay. Though as the time pushed on and they all got to the Chateau; which has to be added was incredibly gorgeous and decked to the halls with history of the Nevrakis family. Jade was mesmerized just alone by all the historical artifacts that clung to almost every corner of the home that she saw. The colors inside and the detail to every hall made her smile. Though as they continued walking Maxwell finally broke Jade and himself away from the group as they all went to find their respective rooms. Leading her down a single hall she realized that not many others were coming down the hall and she kind of figured that she would be farthest away from everyone though as they entered the room that Maxwell found was hers the interior design was breathtaking. A beautiful purple color danced around the walls with a glazing chandelier and a huge bed. “So I take it that you are probably not going to be around many people on this side of the hall” and as Maxwell laughed shaking his head Jade responded “That is actually fine with me…the more that I can just think about what is going on and making a decision for me its going to be a good thing. But where are you and Bertrand staying?” as she sat down on the bed bringing her luggage up to the bed to start to think about what to wear. “Oh we are right down the second hallway as we first came in, although Bertrand is currently taking care of a few other things right now” Maxwell said as he started to look at her and as he chuckled his chuckle stopped abruptly as he looked out the window, “Hey you might want to make it fast….Queen Ice already has Liam out on the ice-rink. God she doesn’t waste time does she” as Jade rushed to the window she saw it herself there that Liam and Olivia were skating around the rink and of course Olivia was just milking it up holding onto Liam’s arm and smiling up to him.

As Jade turned around and plopped onto the bed she said “How can I compete with that? I mean really she has a freaking ice rink in her backyard and she…she has that history with him….there is no way that this is going to end well for me” and as she looked down to the ground, Maxwell walked over to her starting to sit next to her and said “Look I know right now that it looks bleak and that you are not getting a lot of time with Liam but I can assure you that this is going to be alright. You are going to get through this” and he stated “I believe in you Jade” with a smile starting to hug her and soon getting up and walking to her suitcase starting to bring out something that she could wear as she smiled and said “What would I do without you Maxwell?” “Probably crash and burn at that lovelybar that you worked at before” as he started to laugh a little bit searching and finally finding the perfect outfit as he handed her a pair of jeans with a tan petty coat and colorful scarf. After she changed and walked out Maxwell let out a little whistle and a chuckle as Jade started to get her boots on. “You do know how to ice skate….right?” and as Jade finished she smiled to him and said “You will just have to find out” as she started to head to the door.

As both Jade and Maxwell walked towards the ice together it was plain to see the way that Olivia was really holding onto Liam as they skated around the rink together and to Jade’s surprise she felt a little green monster hitting her shoulder but quickly fading when Liam looked over to her and smiled. Although in true Olivia fashion she asked Liam for a few more laps. “Well that was just peachy” Jade stated as she started to step out on the ice and Maxwell followed “You know…I could distract Olivia and just give you the right moment to slip right in there” he smiled looking to her “You would do that?” “Hey now any chance to make a little entertainment and distraction for our princess I would be honored” Maxwell stated with a wink as he started to skate towards Olivia though as he did he hip checked Jade causing her to skate towards Liam and just as Liam turned he came face to face with Jade “Whoa I got ya. Are you alright Lady Jade?” Liam asked as his hands started to help her steady. “Oh…yeah I …it just takes a moment to get my footing, sorry about that.” She smiled to him as he smiled back giving a small chuckle “Nothing is broken right…therefor nothing to apologize for. Would you like to accompany me around the rink a few times?” as he started to offer Jade his hand she took it smiling though almost instantly not feeling anything again…knowing that she should be feeling something but soon shaking that feeling away as she wanted to give this a chance knowing that she was feeling off about the whole situation she knew how much it meant to him that she was here and as they started to skate around the rink she found her mind starting to warm up to the idea of him. “Well you look like you are at least warm I do hope” he stated signaling to her coat as they started heading around where there was no one else and as they started to come to a slower pace Jade looked at him and said “Yeah I am pretty warm thank you. I know you and Olivia are close but how long have you all known each other?” she asked as he started to explain how they were childhood friends, growing together and always around each other, sharing how they would go skating together for hours, play in the snow and just have a good old time either being in Lythikos or at the Palace they would always find a way to make the day fun. Though after Jade makes a small comment about how she doesn’t seem to know how to have a good time and seems rather rough around the edges Liam could explain that Olivia lost her parents at a very young age and not having the guidance that she should have even after her aunt left her as well, she had to learn to take care of herself at a very young age. He then recalled the first time that he meet her, he had found her in her room holding her mother’s night gown, 5 years old and asking for her to come back. Liam knew then and there that he had to do something so he invited her to stay at the palace with him and for around 2 months they were completely inseparable and that drove Drake crazy thinking that he was losing his best friend. Though as Liam went on to kind of introduce a whole different side of Olivia, Jade started to feel bad inside that she ever judged her so quickly. “Well there you have it the quickest story that I can share about Olivia and I….I hope that you realize that just cause we have known each other longer…that it means she…” and as he went to continue Olivia found her way back to them “So Lady Jade how are you liking it here” and as Liam started to smile Jade answered “It’s absolutely stunning. Thank you for having us here” and as there was a sense of shock in Olivia’s eyes she smiled to Jade and nodded as a simple ‘You’re welcome’ look and soon Liam looked to them both and excused himself though before he did he leaned in and hugged Jade and whispered to her “I shall find you again...I promise” and she couldn’t help but smile as he skated away with Olivia once again.

Jade smiled knowing that she was having a good time with Liam and knowing that this could be the last time that she may see him for a while, feeling a sadness fall over her knowing that he was right that from here on out this is how it was going to be and that was something that really scared her….how was she going to fall in love with him if she barely got to see him? How was she supposed to get to know him through this? Though as she skated around the rink she found Hana who talked with her a little bit about the skating lessons that she had in the past and how she always found it so relaxing. Though Jade was listening and paying attention she couldn’t help but let her mind wonder a little bit as she started to think about how well her and Liam could get along or if she was wasting her time. Knowing that she couldn’t leave just yet she decided that she would stick it out a little bit longer, but she knew that if her heart continued like this, the questioning and the worrying, she wasn’t sure if she could continue.

After a few moments Hana could have mentioned to Jade that a few of them were going to go on the Ski Slope that was toward the back side of the festival activities. Although Jade had never done the ski slope before she knew that this could be another chance for her to get some alone time with Liam, though as it would go to show as they all started to couple off Olivia immediately grabbed Liam’s arm. Jade just shook her head as she saw all the others coupling off; Penelope was with Kiara, Hana was with Maxwell and as Jade thought to herself that she was going to be alone she felt a hand on her shoulder and as she turned she saw Drake standing there. “Hey, I didn’t even know you were coming with” Jade said as she smiled to him starting to feel relieved though also kind of nervous knowing that she would be alone with him again even after all the thoughts and the dreams that she has had about him. “Yeah I know but its nice to get out ….skating really isn’t my thing but you know skiing is a little bit better…at least then you know you will never have to wear a tutu” as he chuckled Jade could see the little flicker of happiness hit his amazing deep brown eyes that she noticed sparkled when he was happy with little embers of Jade and as she smile to him he helped her onto the lift though as it started to climb she started to shiver a little bit mainly due to the nerves. Drake noticed this and without even asking he reached over and took her gloved hand. She looked over to him and gave him a smile “Thank you…I just…I normally don’t do the lifts when I ski” as she looked down a little bit embarrassed to be admitting that. “Hey don’t be nervous you just jump off when we get to the top…just follow my lead and you will be alright” and he was right, the moment that they got to the top he helped her guide off perfectly and as they landed she breathed a sigh of relief “Not so bad was it Morgan?” he asked her as he smiled to her “Not too bad and thank you again.” She said giving his hand a little squeeze and as they looked over the scenery Jade took in the cool breeze that was whisking past them and as she stood there she couldn’t help but feel better standing there at the top with Drake as though she was on top of the world holding his hand, though knowing that she already decided on what she had to do and right now she was wondering if she made the wrong choice.

“Hey Morgan…you know we could make today a little bit more interesting. I mean that is if you are up for a little challenge.” He said smiling to her as he started to look right at her catching her eyes and as he looked to her she couldn’t help but have her heart starting to beat faster in her chest as she responded. “Oh really, and what did you have in mind?” she asked starting to give him a little bit of a smile and a sly little laugh as there was a few snowflakes starting to fall around them. He looked to her smiling to her and saw the look and happiness in her eyes and as she looked back to him she felt it too. “I propose that we race down the hill and if you win I will skate back at the Chateau with a tutu on…but if I win” he said as he started to lean in closer to her his warm breathe ticking her ear as she gasped feeling him that close to her, all alone at the top she felt his body just inches from hers as she then heard him whisper “I get to steal you away for at least an hour…alone.” He whispered and she felt her body shiver as he placed a small kiss to right below her ear. He took a step back starting to look at her his eyes burning into her heart and into her mind and before she can find the words to protest she agreed to his proposition though before she could register what was going on due to the way that he was making her feel she didn’t have time to prepare as he stated “Ready, set…don’t wipe out” and he took off looking back at her smiling. That smile making her have to shake her head before heading down after him, laughing and actually having a great time even though she knew that she had to win. She knew that if he did….she doesn’t know what would come over her later…if that alone time did happen.

As they both raced down the hill snow flying behind them and soon zooming past the others that were taking their time going down including Liam and Olivia Drake could look back to her giving her another smile and she was watching him swerve to miss the branch that she then sees that she is heading right to, she shifted her weight to swerve although losing her balance and heading right into the snow landing with a hard force in the snow having hit something hard and instantly as she looked up she could feel the pain shooting through her ankle and up her leg and as she tried to move she couldn’t. As she laid there she heard Drake yell out her name and soon felt him right next to her. “Hey hey Morgan are you alright?” he asked her immediately kneeling next to her starting to get her goggles off her face and looking right to her. She tried to hide the pain but was already knowing that she couldn’t hide the expression that was all over her face. She looked over Drakes shoulder and seeing Liam starting to ski over as well leaving Olivia behind. “Lady Jade are you okay?” Liam asked starting to look at Drake as Drake started to get her ski’s off her starting to look over her ankle a little bit though as he touches it ever so gently she reached out grabbing Drakes arm. “She did something to her ankle….she needs to get back to the Chateau and get some ice on it” and as she looked to Drake she felt her heart starting to race even more starting to feel the way that he is being so gentle with her. She looked up to Liam as she heard him say “I can take her back Drake if you want to stay out here” though as she looked to Olivia and seeing her look pissed off Jade quickly spoke up and stated “No Liam you stay here, I am alright I don’t need help getting back to the Chateau. I am just going to head back and ice it a little bit, please don’t let my clumsy self, end anyone’s fun” and as she looked up to them all she smiled and gave a little laugh starting to try and stand up though instantly as she applied the pressure to her foot she fell back to the snow. “No you are not going alone, I …” Liam started “No Liam its not fair to the others if you take me back and don’t worry I will be alright…just need to get a little footing that is all.” Jade exclaimed as she smiled up to him although Liam persisted again “No you are not going alone….Drake would you…would you please take her back to get that taken care of?” and as she heard Liam ask Drake she could feel the nerves starting to shoot through her body “Yeah…uh I can do that…make sure that she gets some ice on it right away and get it rested up” and as he says this he got her into his arms holding her close to him with just such ease. Though right before starting to walk away Liam walked over and took her hand telling her to get some rest and that he would come check up on her when he was done here. She gave him a smile and then started to be carried away with Drake.

Once at the chateau Drake got her seated and propped up in her room helping get her jacket and her gloves off and helping her get her socks off and rolling her pants up a little bit to get the ice in the right spot. Every spot that he touched was like fire feeling his fingers touching her skin and soon as he brought the ice in he sat down on the bed at the foot putting her ankle in his lap. “You know if you wanted to spend time with me…you didn’t have to fall and get hurt….could have just asked” he said trying to get her to laugh. “You know what I didn’t expect to fall like this…I was getting ready to win against you I do hope you know that” she laughed starting to try and bring some laughter to the situation and as she looked at him she could see that there was a deep concern in his eyes and as he looked to her she could see that it ran more deep than she had ever seen before. “I…I am going to let you rest…you need to sleep to let the pain meds help. I will come check on you in about an hour” and as he got up she felt her heart starting to race a little bit as he gently put her ankle on a few pillows and the ice and as he walked out she watched him feeling her smile fade from her face and as she laid her head back she began to think that maybe just leaving would be the best. Though as she closed her eyes she drifted off into a slumber, she didn’t hear him come back into her room a little bit later, taking a seat on the side of her bed. As she slept Drake talked to her, asking why it is that he cant just walk away from her, asking her as she slept why he is feeling so much for her. He took her hand as she slept and felt the softness of her skin and asked her “What hold do you have over me…I know I should just walk away and let you be happy but I just…I cant…not when I know that you feel something still…but I will let you figure this out on your own. But don’t think for a moment that I am going to let it just slide away from us.” Though as she slept, he did end up dozing in and out of sleep, never leaving her side.

After about another hour or so Jade finally woke and as she looked over and seen Drake starting to wake as well “You…you stayed here with me?” she asked as she started to watch him sitting up in the chair a little bit more “yeah…I uh came to check on you and just decided to stay in here to switch out the ice if need be” and as he smiled to her she could see the sincerity in his eyes. “You know….you really scared the shit out of me today….when you landed as hard as you did and when you didn’t and couldn’t get up right away …I am sorry I never should have bet you on that then you wouldn’t have gotten hurt. It’s my fault that you are now cooped up here and …I …I am sorry” and as he looked to her she reached out placing her hand on his cheek and said “Drake, you have nothing to be sorry for. I am the one that accepted the challenge and I am fine…just a little bum ankle” and as she chuckled a little bit she continued “I wanted to thank you actually for taking care of me and bringing me back here, I…I just wish that you wouldn’t have had to cut your time out doing things that are probably a lot more fun than sitting here with me.” She said looking down to the bed a little bit as he started to get up moving to the end of the bed again “You don’t have to thank me. I am actually glad that I was able to come in…not too much of a winter guy” as he started to get the ice off and starting to look at her ankle “It doesn’t look broken but it does look pretty strained but I think that you are going to be alright to jump up and dance pretty soon” and as he speaks his fingers are gently tracing over her skin softly tracing her ankle.

In the midst of the silence Jade started to think about everything that was coming up pretty soon and as she lets out a sigh Drakes eyes focused on hers asking her what was wrong and she explained that she knew how to slow dance, but didn’t know anything about fancy dances at all. Knowing that there was going to be a ball during the festivities she knew that she would have to learn soon, if she actually could. Drake just smiled to her “Well I suppose if you ask nicely I could show you the basic steps I mean I am not one for dancing but I guess I could teach you, if you think that you can stand” and as Jade just looked at him like he was crazy she knew that it was going to be now or never that she would have to learn, injured or not she would have to do this “Alright let’s do it…if you are serious about helping me?” She stated as she started to get out of bed “Whoa whoa Morgan take it slow, you do have an injury….are you sure you want to do this right now?” and as she stood up groaning out in pain at putting the weight on her ankle she reached out and grabbed his arm gripping him for balance and without even a second thought he brought her right to him standing there. “You know you don’t…” “Yes I do, I can’t let an injury hold me back” and as she started to stand up a little bit more wincing at the pain Drake could see the pain in her eyes feeling the pain in his chest. “Well if we are going to do this, we will have to be a little bit closer” he stated placing his hand on her lower back pulling her to him a little bit more as she let out a gasp feeling him close to her again. Though as he shows her the steps repeatedly and of course being gentle with her after about another 20 minutes she could be moving pretty good though not to the speed that a real waltz would be but knowing that she shouldn’t push it she mentions that she should stop and rest her ankle. Before letting her go too far Drake looked right to her eyes and as he smiled to her he leaned in and right before their lips touched, he leaned up kissing her forehead “I am going to head out, I will come check on you soon” “Drake…” she said as he started to look right at her starting to lean in again though this time a voice belonging to Maxwell rang through the halls telling them to come down and get some hot cocoa and they pulled apart from one another not knowing if Maxwell was going to come in or not. Though as Jade started to look to him he then reminded her “I still get my hour” winking to her he turned and walked out of the room leaving Jade with a shocked look on her face.

Once they finally got down stairs and everyone was just talking and doing their own thing Olivia started to talk about the past and how some gals just never had what it took to be a part of royalty, and as she was talking she began to mention how little “Savannah Walker just never could get the grasp of it…I mean that’s what happened right Drakey, she cracked under all that pressure…I mean why wouldn’t she, she never fit in.” and as she could see that it was upsetting Drake enough to where he told her to shut up but it just pushed Olivia more. “Oh do be honest with yourself Drake Savannah was pathetic…I think even Hana takes more rank than your little sister would…I mean she ran off when things got tough like a little child would, tell me that you didn’t see it” and as she spoke the last words the smug expression on her face was enough to push Drake over the edge as he stood up and started to head out. Jade couldn’t take this anymore knowing that Olivia was way out of line in talking about someone like that and even though she was still in pain she stood up and said “Olivia stop being a royal pain in the ass before I slap that smug look off your face.” Olivia who just chuckled placed her hand on her cheek as she said “Oh my could this be….Cinderella cares for the commoner” as she laughed again she then got up and explained that she had to leave everyone as she had a date with Liam to show him around the castle. Jade just stood there shaking her head “Well its easy when you actually have a heart and not being a stone cold bitch” as she turned and walked away before Olivia could say anything. Though as she went to walk away though the pain rushing through her ankle Maxwell could try and stop her but she put her hand up stopping him grabbing a random jacket before heading out as fast as she could to go look for Drake.

After what seemed like forever walking out in the field right before the woods her eyes scanned the horizon and soon landed on Drake standing there with his hands in his pockets and as the flurries started to blow around a little bit but no too bad she started to walk towards him a little bit more “Not too warm for a walk is it” she said as he turned to her “Morgan what the hell are you doing out here?” “Maybe I just wanted to have a little walk” she said starting to step up to him a little bit more as he turned to her starting to get her to walk back “Bull shit Jade you are hurt and its freezing out here you shouldn’t be out here…don’t worry about me” though as he tried to turn her to walk away she didn’t budge “Well too back Drake some people care about you and want to check on you” her eyes just glared to him as she knew that there was more to him walking out here “Morgan just stop, I don’t need anyone to look at me and think that I need help or anyone looking out for me. I am a grown man okay and I certainly don’t need you wasting your time looking out for me” and in the tone in his voice she can tell that this is not really him talking but the anger of Olivia getting to him. “Thanks Drake.” She said back to him just as coldly starting to shake her head a little bit “That’s not what… hell Morgan I don’t mean to be a jerk but you shouldn’t be worried about me okay…you should be worried about yourself and yourself alone.” He said as he started to reach out stroking her cheek a little bit “Drake, you should know by now that I am not just going to walk away from you. I care about how you are feeling and if you are not happy I want to help.” Drake then looked down to the ground a little bit “Jade…do you trust me?” and as she looked at him she could see the glimmer starting to return to his eyes as she smiled to him “You know that I do Drake…you never have to question that” and as she said that to him the smirk appeared back to his face as he reached down taking her hand and starting to walk with her starting to lead her to the middle of the woods a clear opening, where there was no snow on the ground and just a clear opening as the flurries had subsided leaving just an open sky. Though as they got to the middle a little bit more Drake playfully shoved Jade back and she yelped as she stepped back not able to balance with her ankle and falling to her back landing on a rather soft part of the ground “What the …” and soon Drake was on the ground with her and all he did was stare up. She looked to him confused at first until he reached over and started to turn her head to the sky making her look up to the stars. The gleaming d bright stars that were shinning above and in the opening it looked as though they could just reach out to them “Wow this is….breathtaking” and as she was still looking out to the sky Drake smiled starting to reach down taking her hand.

After a few moments Drake finally started talking and he told her about how not only did Olivia’s activities not really peek his interests but the words that she spoke really hit him deep. When he looked to her and sighed he finally started to open up a little bit sharing things about him and his sister and how they used to do things like this together and how after his dad died it was basically him being the man of the house and feeling like he had to protect her at all costs. Though as he spoke about his sister she could see that he cares deeply about her and how he talks about protecting her she can see the most sincere side that she has ever seen from him. After a little bit Drake started to then look at her as he explained “Savannah wanted nothing more than to be a part of court, she wanted to be a part of something that could make a difference, and having a part in court she knew that she could bring to the table any ideas to help common people like herself. She gave everything to the nobles and never got anything in return because no one could look past who she really was at heart…a commoner” and as he swallowed hard obviously getting upset he continued as he stroked her hand gently. “I felt that every time that she came to me crying about what a noble had said, I felt like I couldn’t protect her and when she left and didn’t say a word, I felt like I failed her. That….that is why I am so protective of you Morgan. I don’t want to see you get hurt, I don’t think I could even take in that thought of seeing you hurt the way that she was.” He stated as she started to roll to look at him and he did the same as they were both now perched up together on their elbows looking to one another “Drake…I wont get hurt…not as long as you stay here with me, remember you said you wouldn’t leave me” she smiled as he brought her hand up to his lips kissing it tenderly “Morgan I meant what I said, I will not leave you until you tell me to” he smirked to her starting to lean in gently and under the clear open sky unknowing to the snow that was starting to fall a little bit more around them Drake leaned in and kissed her tenderly. His lips massaging hers as he brought his hand up to her cheek stroking it gently. His lips were like fire against hers as she kissed him back, her mind racing and her heart beating so fast as the moment just consumed her all over again. Though as they broke apart and started to see that the snow was really starting to come down now, Drake looked to her suggesting that they get back.

As they began to head back the snow began to pick up rather heavily and soon as Jade was walking she found that the cold was having an impact on her ankle as she started to lag behind a little bit so Drake being concerned and wanting to get her back and out of the cold he lifted her into his arms and started to carry her back to the Chateau holding her tightly against him to keep his body heat to keep her warm. Upon getting back he took her inside right away noticing that most people had left the room besides Hana and Maxwell who immediately jumped up the moment that they came in the door. “Oh my god is she alright” “Yeah she is going to be alright she is just cold. I am going to take her to bed, can you get an ice pack for her ankle and meet us up there?” and as he asked that Hana agreed nodding her head and Maxwell started to follow Hana as Drake took Jade up the stairs and right to her room. Setting her down gently helping her stand he began to remove the jacket feeling her shivering already as he pulls the material off her. “Hey hey everything is going to be alright you are going to be warm in the bed soon” he said as he stepped away to hang the jacket over the chair in her room but as he looked to her she was trying to get her pants off knowing that she needed to get out of the damp clothing though as she started to try and push them down she almost fell, but Drake was able to catch her before she did as he offered to help her take them off. Knowing that she shouldn’t be letting him she knew that she wasn’t going to get off this easy. The moment that her pants were off he pulled her right to his arms starting to try and use his body heat to warm her. Though as he is holding her feeling her tiny body shivering against him he could start to run his hands up and down her back and then her arms holding her as close to him as he can. Her hands were up on his chest as he cradled her close feeling his heart racing knowing how badly inside he wants to just take her to his room and hide her there. Hide her from getting hurt, hide her from the nastiness that he knows that can be done in the noble world. As he held her there he kissed the top of her head and as he closed his eyes for just a moment his memories began to flood through his mind of those back in New York, the kisses that are they shared, the closeness that they still have and that he knows that he still desires. Holding her like this was making him want something so much more and as he looked down to her he instantly sees that she is looking up to him. “Why are you being so good to me when I told you that I had to see where my heart is?” and as he looked to her seeing the way that even her lips were trembling a little bit he brought his hand up and started to stroke her cheek “You know how I feel Morgan… nothing will change that.” And as he spoke these words to her she smiled and he couldn’t take it he leaned in starting to press his lips to hers kissing her tenderly though as their lips connected again the heat and the passion raced through them both filling them both to the brim and soon her arms were around his neck and with reaching up to him her shirt slid up a little bit revealing her slender sides and stomach and instantly his strong hands were on her sides and his fingers tickling her lower back as he used his hands to bring her closer to him. He couldn’t take it as he leaned into the kiss even more starting to lift her into his arms and taking her right to the bed laying her back on the softness of the mattress.

His mind was on fire as her hands were running over his body and his doing the same as he was over her, kissing her deeply and passionately and soon his hand reached up and back pulling his shirt forward and off him leaving him shirtless above her. As he looked down to her to get her approval, she brought her hand up to the side of his cheek as she looked right into his eyes “How am I so lucky to have the love from you?” and in response all he could do was lean in and pressing his lips to hers again starting to press his body more to hers as her hands and fingers dug into his back holding him there. “Drake I…” and he didn’t let her finish as his hips pressed to hers and a subtle moan escaped her lips instead of words. Hearing her moan caused him to continue moving against her a little bit feeling just how tiny she was under him, he felt like a protector just as he was holding her, kissing her, and soon he was kissing her neck and starting to slide down letting his lips and his stubble tickle her stomach placing kisses around her belly button. Soon he was looking up to her as she smiled down to him getting lost in the moment feeling his lips causing her mind to just flood with the burning desire not caring one second about why she was really there just feeling him in all the ways that they could have been. Though as he started to make his way back up and her hands started to head down to the belt of his jeans there was a knock on the door. Immediately he groaned out and said “I swear to god if that is Maxwell, or Bertrand I am going to beat their asses….Hana I will be a little bit irritated but you can’t ever be mad at her and if its Liam….well we might have some explaining to do” and as he removed himself from her touch that he instantly began to miss he started to get his shirt back on and get the blankets over her. He leaned in kissing the top of her head before heading over to the door. As he walked over he was praying that it would be someone that would just be quick and he could go back to her. Though as he opened the door Hana immediately headed in “Oh Jade look at you, you look frozen” as she immediately went right to her bed side starting to lean in hugging her. Drake looked over and started to smile “I will check on you later Morgan…you’re in good hands now” and left the room. Though as soon as he did Hana looked to Jade, “Did I interrupt something?” she asked and Jade just shook her head, “No he was just helping me get into bed, do you have ice?” she said smiling to Hana though knowing inside she felt bad for hiding this from Hana she knew that she couldn’t let Hana know for sure just yet. Though as they sat there and talked Hana informed Jade of everything that she missed and then of her and Maxwell and though Jade felt bad she couldn’t stop thinking about Drake “You missed it Liam was so worried about you that when Olivia fell in the snow he barely noticed until she yelled out for him” and they both laughed, though as they continued to talk Jade began to get sleepy and soon Hana let her be to rest which she did without hesitation.

Over the time that Jade slept she dreamt of being in Drakes arms and in that dream they were never parted until the last few moments when she walked into a room decorated in fancy décor and Liam reached for her hand and lead her away to dance. Though soon she woke up from the dream and saw that it was the middle of the night. As she stood up she felt that her ankle was feeling less stressed and she grabbed her robe and then began to walk around a little bit knowing that she had to keep it moving or it was going to possibly be worse for the next night at Olivia’s ball. Though as she walked around the halls she started to think about what it was that she was going to do and she knew in her heart that she could tell Drake right now that she would leave but she also looked into her heart and saw the sweet smile on Liam’s face. Why was this so hard? Why couldn’t she just be strong? As she began to walk back to her room she looked down the hall seeing Hana and Maxwell leaning against the wall holding each other close. Maybe just maybe she should come clean about Drake to Hana…about how deeply she was falling for him, though seeing the smile that was spreading on their faces she knew that she didn’t want to interrupt so instead heading back to her room. As she turned around the corner she was taken aback as she saw Liam leaning against her bedroom door. “Oh god you scared me Liam” she said placing her hand over her chest “Is everything okay” and as she smiled to him he walked to her. “Oh of course I just wanted to check on you and make sure that you were alright. I tried to sleep but not knowing how you were I couldn’t sleep. How is the ankle?” he asked starting to bring her to him hugging her close to him. “Oh you know its just an ankle, I got it taken care of and its actually feeling a lot better thank you” and as she smiled to him he started to turn her to the wall a little bit pressing her to it a little bit more with his body “You have no idea how I wanted so badly to aid to you today, and just be with you.” He said starting to reach in and stroke her cheek “I understand that you had to be with Olivia, I mean its normal now that we only get to steal a few moments here and there right?” Jade looked to him and the sadness that took over his eyes “Jade I ..I know that its hard to look past but I promise if its you and I standing at the end of this, it will be all but a memory that we had to go through this being apart.” Though as Jade stood there hearing the word “if” she started to know that this could be the hardest thing that she has ever had to do and the uncertainty that was going through her was only making it harder. “I know we will just have to wait and see” she said smiling to him and as she did he leaned in pressing his lips to hers kissing her tenderly and for a brief moment she could taste the hint of whiskey as she gave him a kiss back “were you having a little drink this evening?” she asked smiling against his lips a little bit as he then chuckled “You could say that, I did have a few drinks with Drake this evening after I saw him walking around the halls looking confused. He opened up a little bit about a few things that have been going on in his mind.” Though as he continued to talk to her its like her listening skills just turned off wondering if he told her about his feelings for her and she began to get a little bit nervous. “Though I told him that Savannah left on her own, he couldn’t keep beating himself up over her” and as Jade realized that he was talking about Savannah and knowing how Drake was feeling earlier, she felt a wave of relief wash over her. “He really should understand that it wasn’t his fault…but you know Drake he is the stubborn kind,” she smiled to him “You know I could come in for a few moments if you wanted to rest that ankle” he stated as he started to lean in kissing her cheek and then leaning to her ear “Or I could finally aide you as I should have earlier” as his lips kissed right below her ear. “What about the other ladies…I don’t think that they would appreciate knowing that I took their Prince to my chambers” she giggled to him as he kissed her lips one more time. He signed deeply “You’re right I really shouldn’t….if anyone found out…it could end things, rather badly” and as he looked to her he smiled “Always looking out for me. You are something else Jade. I cant wait until we can spend a little bit more time together. I will try to sneak away again as soon as I am able, but until then” he stated leaning in and pressing his lips to hers one more time and she melted into his kiss, she couldn’t help it that his lips teased hers into wanting more. “Sleep well my lady” he said as he gave a little bow and walked away from the door.

As Jade stood there thinking about what just happened she started to walk to the window starting to look out to the wintery scene outside wondering if Liam would start to do a little bit more to give them more of a chance or if she would be leaving here sooner than she thought with the man she felt that was falling for her as he claimed he did. Though as she was looking out the window she felt her heart beating faster and faster but as she looked up to the window she was startled seeing Drake standing behind her “Drake… what are you doing here?” she asked looking him over and in his eyes she could tell that he was a little on the tipsy side. “I came to see you Morgan…I want my hour” he stated as he turned her into his arms his lips crashing down onto hers, the scent and taste of whiskey flooding into her lips as she could taste it on his lips more-so than normal and as his body pressed to hers she gasped feeling the heat between them returning. Though as he started to kiss on her neck he rested his head there “Its my fault…you know that right?” he asked leaving his head there “Wh…what do you mean its your fault?” she asked him starting to try and help him look at her “Savannah” and then right there she knew that he needed to get to a bed though she knew that she wouldn’t be able to get him to his room she looked to him and said “Come on lets go” she said starting to walk him a little bit into her room and the moment that he was close enough to the bed he collapsed to the bed literally falling asleep right away. As Jade sat there on the edge of the bed she reached over brushing his hair back a little bit with her fingers looking at him and wondering how she could get him to see that it’s not his fault and as he slept she watched over him knowing that he needed this more than anything. Soon enough though she fell asleep right next to him and there they both lay without a care in the world.
