-A comparison:

There’s something to be found in the stillness of glass.

The blaring light-too bright, burning through your eyelids.

Shimmering wings of dragonflies beat-

pounding your temples.

Constructing the words of anguish.

There’s something to be found in the stillness of glass,

as it hangs in the air mere seconds from shattering.

The tick

tick

ticking of a clock,

blood flowing head on.

Pulsing-

Beating,

Splitting.
