有時候，我會去公園坐一坐，那是個荒僻的郊區公園。

裡面有一個小池子。

說是池子，倒不如說是一條人工挖掘的溝壑。

裡面有些小魚游來游去，自然繁盛，我看到有青蛙，烏龜和蝦。

很久沒回去了，我又走到那個公園去看看。

早已經乾涸，什麼也沒有了。

那些繁盛的景觀像是錯覺一樣在我的眼前浮現，它們都死了。

一個帶著女孩的母親也正走在公園裡，女孩看起來心不在焉。

我坐在石椅上，思緒飄向二戰戰場，敘利亞，貧瘠的中國鄉村和鬧著埃博拉的西非。

「你幹什麼？ 這麼髒！」

我被急促的說教聲拉回到這個公園裡。

小女孩跳到了溝壑裡，她看了一眼，眼神裡痛苦，像是海潮要溢出。

她捧起一塊乾涸的泥土，仔細端詳著。

她看起來像是要輕吻這塊爛泥。

「你瘋了，這是塊髒東西！」

「不，這是生命。」
