Rush Hour

A takeaway coffee and a sandwich to go.

Not enough time to sit down and eat.

No time to lose. No time to lose.

Another class to try and stay awake in.

Another doodle to stay attentive.

Needing to slow down, slow down.

When lecture time is over, the art is complete.

A face peers back from the slip.

Time to get going. Time to get going.

Just enough to catch the next class.

Hardly enough to get focused again.

The never ending. Never ending.
