Daybreak in Colours

A new sun, a new day,

The light breaking over the mountains.

Unseen colours of the night

Are illuminated in the break of dawn,

Adding hues as the light spreads further.

Today the colours may be rich and varied,

But seasons may change and dull the view.

The sun that grows the beauty

Will be the sun that dries out

The colours around the valleys.

The sun rises, the sun sets,

The cycle will never cease to exist.

The colours fade or flourish in the light,

But the colours of daybreak

Will always create a new sight.
