An ancient family curse, known popularly throughout many forms of literature and entertainment, is not a made up spell for those of Briar blood, as punishment many many years ago for insulting a powerful fairy, the eldest daughter of each Briar family generation will prick their finger and be in an ageless sleep until they are awakened by true love's kiss. However, Eleanor Nox Briar did not wake up as fast as her ancestors have.
