As I have grown old, I have got less time for my old friends, and I wonder if our bonds and relationships have ever changed. But Sometimes, if not often, they appear me in my dream, and I appear in theirs; like my best friend, Patryk, who used to live with me for two years, and we were as close as brothers.
He had become a pilot, bright and smart, and he had started a business in Canada. I haven't seen him for a very long time, nearly three years... and one night, I saw him in my dream, and I messaged him the next day, he was surprised that I called, as he wasn't doing very well in his business, and needed some financial support.
Guess what? He was thinking about me, and then I called him. All of a sudden, I didn't know if it was just a coincidence, or it was telecommunication, liked science fictions. Anyhow, I loaned him some money. Indeed, I co-invested in his business, and I managed to help me to pull through the hard times.
There was another time when I had a bad feeling about my best friend, Isaac. I called him, but he didn't pick up. I knew something wasn't right, so I called his parents, they said he went out to pick up his new car, but he didn't come home while he was expected home an hour ago. I told his Mother that I had a bad feeling about Isaac, so I asked them to call the police.
Half an hour later, they received a call from the hospital. Isaac was in the hospital, he got a car accident, and he was unconscious but stable. Luckily, Isaac had a full recovery and returned to his excellent shape. Years later, I took Isaac out for lunch, and he told me that he was thinking of me when the accident happened. "Why me?" I asked, and he said, "I don't know... maybe I thought you would come and save me." Was it coincident? I guess not.
