"It takes a village to raise a child. It takes a child with autism to raise the consciousness of a village." - quote by Coach Elaine Hall

Madhuri. Bhalo naam. That is my "good" name. I am no average seventeen year old. I come from a prestigious family that established itself here in America before I was born.  Although our parents grew up dedicated to traditions, there is nothing traditional about us. We live in a hotel. My sister and I wear tank tops and ripped jeans, are adventurous and passionate. Frankly, our family is kind of dysfunctional. But that is only a part of my story.

Mou. daak naam. That is my "secret name" that he whispered to me the first night he said he loved me. Our story is how I fall in love with an autistic Italian photographer named Rizzo, how against all odds of culture and crisis we make our love strong, and how our love comes to inspire the world.
