“Please don’t tell me that you want to go” i smack the locker shut as i turned to look at Somin with a frown on my face.
“Of course not. Not alone anyway. I want US to go” She said smiling the biggest smile i have ever seen on her, staring at me with her big black puppy eyes as if pleading me to say yes.
Although i didn’t really want to go i couldn’t refuse her either.
Summer break was close so our school organized their famous trip. It was already a tradition for us to go on a trip at the end of the year. Every time was different. Every year we have another destination.
Last year we’ve been to a beach and someone almost drowned. Since then the school decided to keep us away from water. Dumb. Also they thought it will be a good idea to take us on a trip to the mountains because why not?. It’s not like someone could trip and fall into a gap or something, and die anyway.
Nope, let’s keep the idiots away from the real fun.
Somin waved her hand in front of my face, my attention redirecting to her again.
“Come on. Why not going? We will go camping. I LOVE camping and you know my parents won’t let me go without you. Please.” She grabbed my arm shaking her lower lip as if she’s about to cry. “Besides,” She said “i think you need to have some fun too. You know how they say ‘All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.” She winked smiling.
There is no way in hell i can escape now.
With a heavy sigh i gave up to her pleading.

“I Can’t.” i exhaled, not being able to breath properly. “Let’s just stop and go home. Please” i placed my hand on my knees letting all my weight rest on them.
Running for 15 minutes straight wearing a pair of jeans and a shirt is not a good combo. Especially when i have to carry a 4 pounds backpack on my back.
“No.” Somin said firmly. “We are going to walk a lot and i do not want to faint out of exhaustion and make a fool of myself in front of so many cute guys”
She was running out of breath too. I rolled my eyes at her statement. Since when are ‘cute guys’ a good enough reason to actually die out of suffocation.
Please, i’d rather die choking on food.
“I’m about to faint right now” I said. “We’re only going camping, for fuck sake. What can they ask us to do that we ‘need to train’ for? Other than find god knows what kind of leaves or gathering branches”
She rolled her eyes, placing her hands on her waist.
“These are basic things, of course we will do that but we’re not training for that~” I cut her off
“We are not training. This is just you torturimg me for your own satisfaction”
“Anyway,” she continued, ignoring me. “As i was saying we will do that,yes, but do you really expect us not to go on a trip in the mountains? Come on, what’s the point if not?” She said
“I’m sure i won’t be capable of climbing a mountain if you are killing me NOW”
“Stop being a crybaby and run. You will thank me later”
“Only if we are runing our way home, otherwise i’m not moving.” I said crossing my arms at my chest, pouting.
Somin sighed “Fine. Let’s go to your house”
I smiled happily clapping my hands and start running toward my house. Somin following behind.

I closed the door behind us and dropped our backpacks on the floor beside the door. Somin went to sit on the couch while i went to the kitchen to drink some water after the hell she made me go through, but when i reached the kitchen i freeze in my spot at the sight in front of my eyes.
“Missed me?”
I opened and closed my mouth like a fish on land, my eyes widen in shock. I want to yell but no words are getting out. It’s like i don’t know how to talk anymore.
My grandmother appearing out of nowhere is not helping either.
“Dear, why didn’t you tell me Jimin was visiting us today? I would’ve made some sweets for him. I didn’t saw him in a while.” She said smiling and pinching Jimin’s cheek.
He smiled sweetly at her. His smile was so big i could barely see his eyes.
“No,no. It’s okay grandma,” He said taking her hand in his, leading her to the stairs. “You don’t have to bother. Why don’t you go rest?” He said looking at me over his shoulder.
I forwned. She’s not your grandma you snake.
“I’m not staying for long anyway, i just came to talk to Mina” He said
“All right then but promise me you will come to dinner tomorrow night okay?”
My jaw dropped. I raised my eyebrows in shock. Say no, say no.
“I would love too.” Jimin’s smile grew bigger.
Fucker! I mentally cursed him.
After my grandma left, i found myself standing at the kitchen table in between Jimin and Somin who are throwing death glares to each other.
I sigh, closing my eyes and leaning back on my chair.
“So,” I break the silence making both of them to look at me. “Mind explaining why are you blessing us with your angelic presence?” I said sarcastically, pinching the bridge of my nose and faking a smile.
He rolled his eyes. “You didn’t let me explain myself the last time we met”
“Last time?” Somin repeated confused.
“In detention”
“None of your business”
Jimin and i answered at the same time.
“Can you stop being so fucking rude just for once, god i’m so sick of you.”
“Didn’t i told you i want to talk to you alone?” Jimin said, sending a fake smile to Somin.
“First of all, you don’t tell me what to do, second, WE are AlOnE” I said gesturing with my arm around myself.
“Are you sure about that?” He said looking straight at Somin. “And i can still remember those times when you couldn’t even talk without me you big baby, so let’s not get into that subject.”
I clenched my jaw and signaled Somin to go and wait me in my room until i get rid of Jimin.
I placed my hands on the table. “You see, things has changed a lot since YOU decided to leave.” i said with a cold voice, struggling to keep my expression as emotionless as i could. The last thing i want is to let him know how much of an impact his presence has on me right now.
Jimin scoffed leaning back in his seat, on hand on the table and the other on his leg.
“Let me reformulate that for you. Thanks to me, things has changed a lot and you’ve been finally able to get the hell out of your shell.” Jimin said, piercing me with his eyes. Boi if stares could kill….
I let out a ‘tsk’ sound and tilted my head to the said pretending i was thinking.
“I wouldn’t say that, in fact, i think i said exactly what i wanted to say”
“Can you stop being so fucking stubborn and understand that i did what i did for the sake of your sanity?” He was getting angry. Jackpot.
“I don’t know, can you stop existing?”
“Seriously, stop acting like a 5 years old and have a decent conversation.”
“Don’t you think it’s a little bit too lat to act mature?” I said raising my eyebrows.
He lets out a deep sigh, visibly frustrated with me.
“Just tell me why are you acting like this when i already told you~” I cut him off
“Yeah, i got that, You keep telling me that you had reasons to act like that, but have you ever wandered how much damage you caused only by stopping talking to me?”
I waited for him to answer but he didn’t. He was confused. I massaged my forhead and continued talking.
“Do you have any idea how many rumors popped out since you stopped talking to me? Do you really think people didn’t notice how close we were when we started high school and then all of a sudden we’re not even looking at each other.” I said.
“While you were happily living in your bubble with that gucci boi of yours, people were spreading rumors that i was sleeping with for money, because you’re rich and i’m not, got this? And after you got bored you just stopped acknowledging my existence.”
Tears started forming in my eyes.
“I didn’t know. Why didn’t you tell me?” His eyes were wide in shock. He placed his hand on top of mine but i retired, letting his hand fall onto the table.
“How could i? I saw how happy you were without me being a burden to you. I didn’t want to sacrifice your happiness for mine, because i loved you. I really fucking loved you, and i hoped that even if you didn’t want to be around me anymore, at least you’ll bother to call and ask if everything is okay or if i am okay, cause we spent a lifetime together and it’s not easy to lose the only person i loved more than myself. But god knows how wrong i was.”
I let the tears roll down my face as i let everything out. Everything that bothered me for the past year. All the unspoken thoughts
“Look, Mina, i know i’ve done and said a lot of stupid and hurtful thing towards you, but now that you tell me what actually happened when i was to blind too see, i regret everything, and i know is hard for you but all i am asking you is to give me another chance,” Jimin paused looking me in the eyes “For the sake of all the years we’ve been friends and all the hardships we;ve been through together, please, give a chance to show you how sorry i am.”
I wiped my tears away and stared into Jimin eyes, observing his every action, trying to debated whether he is serious or not.
After a short while of staring at him, i let out a deep sigh biting my lip and nodding.
“Ok, fine. Only because i don’t wanna throw away so many years for nothing. But if you fuck up again,” I said sending him a death glare “I swear i’m done with for the rest of my life”.
He got up from his seat smiling from ear to ear. He traped me in his arm squishing me to death.
“I promise i won’t fuck up anymore.”He said. “Now, how about you call that annoying friend of yours so we can watch a movie, hmm? Does it sounds good ?” He said wiggling his eyebrows.
“You are more annoying than her. But sure, whatever” I said rolling my eyes and smiling
