Ashes to ashes

Dust to dust

Here lies a loved one

Her name

Perdieta

Also called Perdy

She was a loved and special dog

German wire haired

Cross Labrador Retriever

She was

Protective

Cute

And adorable

She'd cuddle and sleep with me

She'd make me better

With just a lick on the hand or face

She loved me

I loved her

I miss her

And I'm positive

She's misses me too

She was my baby

My baby girl

She flew away too soon

I'm sure if she had a choice to stay or go

She'd choose to stay with me

But she heard the call to go to heaven

And she couldn't delay

So she left me

She had to go

I'm not mad

Because

I know that some day

We'll see each other once again.
