I am so, so excited! It's a short holiday for us this year (we're only going for one week) since we're all saving up to go to San Francisco next year when we're all 21 and can legally drink and do all the fun stuff (Why 21, America??).497Please respect copyright.PENANADb4oErS10t
Last year, whilst on the train on our way to Venice from Croatia, we travelled through Slovenia and it was beautiful. So many mountains and so much green! Living in a city, the only green I ever see is in a park. I can't imagine being surrounded by so much beautiful nature and having it right at your fingertips.497Please respect copyright.PENANApfnJcY7MZC
There are so many gorges and national parks and lakes (Google image Lake Bled. Thank me later) and so much incredible stuff to do. You can even take a day trip to Venice and be there in just two and a half hours!!
I've got a hell of a lot of deadlines and two 3 hour exams to get through, plus I'll have to work crazy amounts of time to save up before June comes around, but now we finally have something to look forward to. Four months in and 2016 has already been terrible, so maybe Slovenia will be the silver lining and the only redeeming factor about this god-awful year.
But as a side note, I am thinking about setting up a separate blog dedicated to travel - tips and advice, general stories, recommendations, pictures etc. It will include bits of the UK and Europe, as those are the only places I've been lucky enough to visit so far, but if things go to plan it won't stay that way for long. We're all tired of the typical teenage holidays - Ibiza, Magaluf, Napa... - and we want places with real substance.497Please respect copyright.PENANAabwh8gvbIh
