A boy named Cody lived in a small town. His parents left for a few days and he was left home alone. Cody had been home alone many times before so he was experienced. When Cody's parents left he decided to go outside in the snow. He then put on all the things you would expect a kid to put on in the winter and walked outside. Then He noticed something only a few feet away from him in the snow sat a bird its feathers were pure white.He decided to leave it there he went back inside because he lost interest in being outside. He sat on the couch and turned on the tv. A few minutes passed the minutes turned into hours finally the sun gave up and the moon took over the sky. Cody took of the clothes winter clothes that he had left on. He then walked up the stairs into his bedroom. Cody then got into his bed his eyes closed and his mind ran away to escape reality. Little did he know the bird with white feathers watched him from his window it sang a beautiful sad song of death and sorrow. In Cody's dream the bird with white feathers was there it flew across the sky and a white feather fell down from the air.
