I was in a maze, running. A little ball rolled in front of me, just out of reach. Sometimes it was a yellow bouncy ball, sometimes a red marble. I chased after it urgently, not paying any attention to where I was going. 874Please respect copyright.PENANACr0lqLSG0e
The maze itself looked vaguely like a casino, and the ball often spun on a roulette table. It always eluded me.
Suddenly, I heard men chattering behind me, closing in. Guns were fired at me but not hitting me. At that point, I wasn't sure whether I was chasing the ball or running from the men.
A young child out of sight, called out to me. "Come quick. They're closing in," she said. "Save us." I looked behind me at the suited men, making sure they weren't getting closer, and I kept running.
"She won't last long," a young man said. "Save my sister – she's my only family." Panicking, I reached one last time at the ball – which was a clear marble with a spinning top inside – and everything faded.
I was standing on rafters with white sheets draped randomly around. I could see the ocean below, beach sand meeting the edge of the lapping waves. "Let's do this!" a woman said. "Come on and find us."
I cautiously proceeded on the rafters, the ball all but forgotten, thus disappeared. I jumped from one rafter to another, physics all but discarded. I walked further and further away from the beach until the path ended.
A boat tied to the dock swayed with the waves. There were three people aboard, already waiting. There was a brunette with a Glock, probably Tanya from Command and Conquer's Red Alert 2. Next to her sat a young innocent looking girl, perhaps the Red Queen from Resident Evil. A young man held the Red Queen's hand, his only definable feature being his smile.
Tanya pointed her Glock just past my head and fired. I turned around to see a man with a handgun and sunglasses fall into the water below. I knew more were coming.
"Get on!" the young man urged. I hopped on the boat and woke up with one lasting thought in my mind.
I need to save these people. They're waiting for me. They won't last long. They need me.874Please respect copyright.PENANABEmzepJbHk
Author's note: This idea spawned a sort of different world within the world of a book of mine. This dream has always meant a lot to me, but I still haven't found who I was supposed to save. I suppose only time will tell.
