F16的世界跟我們的世界大同小異，同樣有一些神，在於不同地方讓人膜拜，可是他們是第三紀元的神，我們現時為第四紀元，可以稱為舊神們，力量不如以前，同樣有著說完，滅絕和定型的故事。

新神皆在第四紀元所誕生，不過本文章並不會討論該神。只會討論第二和第三紀元的舊神。每個紀元的沒落，同樣代表著文明，神，一同衰落。
