desperate despair

near the breaking point

stalked

by looming darkness

shadows creep

trying to swallow me

whole

hidden from others

the torture

day by day

slowly

wearing me down

keep it small

it smells it

fear, sadness, anger

feeding on weakness

it grows

soon

your over the edge

the horizon

with no return
