Write a fairy tale retelling. It can be either a short story or the first chapter of a multi-chapter story centered around any fairy tale. 

For the sake of familiarity we will keep it to based off of either

-Brother's Grimm

-Hans Christian Anderson

-Charles Perrault

We will focus on girl tales in this contest, so please stick to tales centered around girls (Themes: Beauty, Youth, Innocence) as opposed to the few boy tales (Themes: Tests, Courage, Growth). It this contest is taken well, I will hold another centered around boy tales.

So for example:

Little Red Riding Hood/Little Red Cap

Sleeping Beauty/Brier-Rose

Snow White

Cinderella

The Little Mermaid

Beauty and the Beast

and the like. 

Other tales involving female main characters are accepted as well (Hansel & Gretel, etc..)
