Life was mean to him, it never treated him well since he was born. The life story of Gustav basically was a complete disaster, but fortunately to him it is short, because he only lived till he was twenty-eight.
The story should probably the end right here, but fate somehow gave it a turning point.
Gustav rolled over, that sense of wet, sticky and bloody clothes attached to the back of his body was incredibly uncomfortable. What he vaguely remembered, a bullet shot through his heart from behind and he fell onto the ground with blood streaming everywhere.
Should have been dead anyway, Gustav thought to himself. Dying in such a way is not the worst after all, maybe he could even treat it as some sort of a relief.
He was hiding right outside the door of Soren's villa for five whole days, until he finally showed up. Pulling the trigger without hesitation right before Soren could get onto his car. The bullet from the sniper rifle went right through his head and blood splashed all over the front yard of the mansion. There was a hole on Soren's head, and blood was gushing out like a fountain.
Soren was confused, lost and demented.
The images of the headshotting scene played back in Gustav's mind, it was such a immense pleasure to him that vented some of his hatred towards Soren.
Soren has been wealthy for his entire life, no way he could imagine that he would die in the hand of such a small potato like Gustav. But when it comes to facing death itself, everyone is the same, even the richest person in the world could not bargain with it.
Karma.
After shooting Soren, his bodyguards found Gustav, followed him and shot him from the back.
Gustav felt a sting from behind and when he realised that was the feeling when a bullet ripping through his body, his heart started to get numb, and he could feel the vitality is rapidly leaving his body.
So he is dying, but he laughed. He laughed at himself, he laughed at his life, he laughed at the past 28 years. Why did he take so long to realise the meaning of his life.
Then he burst into tears.
He revenged for his parents, everything from the past came to his mind like cinematic scenes. The only thing in the world he cared about was that smile on her face.
She was his high school classmate, who was married to another man. All he remembered was her gorgeous look, he wondered what kind of reaction would she have when she found out that he killed Soren and died with Soren.
More and more memories started to flood into his head, he was extremely sorry. There were lots of things, took him too long to understand and find out and it was too late. This life, he had a lot of regret, he had too many unfulfilled aspirations.
Gustav tried to reach for his goal, but when he noticed everything started to go away, and when his life was coming to an end, everything in front of him would just be darkness.
Remorse and frustration were like knives, they kept on sticking into his chest , the heartache was very difficult to restrain.
He struggled within himself for a very long time, he suddenly realised why did everything next to him seemed so real, why he still had conscious after being shot from behind.
He sat up straight immediately,looked around, bewildered.
Is this hell?
He slowly regained focus, he looked at all the familiar wooden beds, chairs, the broken floor that were surrounding him.
Where am I? I am not dead?
The feeling was so unreal, but after he touched his back, he felt a handful of viscous liquid. It was not blood on his palm, it was sweat.
What is happening? Didn't I lose a lot of blood?
Gustav pinched himself and he could totally feel the pain. It is not a dream. But is the assassination of Soren a dream?
He wanted to find out which is true, which is the dream?
He looked around puzzled, he had too much to puzzle about.
Dim light, the old wooden bed, desk, chair, an antique clock on the wall that his dad used to be very proud of having, the ticking sound of it, Gustav remembered. This should be his room.
His memory started to unfold like one of the old photo albums, slowly being flicked through.
The environment in the room is so familiar, this is exactly the house that he used to live in during his high school years.
Sunlight came in through the gaps between the curtains, the pupil dilation due to the reaction to light gave him a dazzling realism.
I am still alive, as Gustav looked at his right hand, it was so pale.
"What is going on? Is this the me right now or the me 10 years ago?" He said to himself as he scratched his head, looking distressed.
The memory fragments started to come together.
This is his 18-year-old year. The second year of his high school. His parents are not home and he had a very serious fever and nearly died.
His parents left him some money and left, without saying anything to him and never came back after two or three months. Even their mobile phones could not get through, they made it look like they disappeared from the face of the earth completely. During that time, he thought his parents did not want him any more. All the negative emotions together with the high fever left a deep psychological wound in him. He started to become timid and shy.
Many years later, he found out that he was wrong. His parents borrowed some money from the relatives to do some smuggling business at the border. Till now, Gustav had no idea how his parents had any connection with these kind of business, all he knew was they managed to buy a big amount and resold it for a large amount of money.
The situation was very tense during that time. They had no way to contact Gustav. What they were doing was considered as a secret within the military. If its leaked, it can easily lead to fatal disaster. Gustav used to hate his parents, until many years later, when things have settled, until his dad explained everything to him, the planted misunderstanding was forgiven.
From then, his dad not only started a metal smelting company, solved the plight of the family, but also transferred Gustav to one of the best school in his city.
Am I really back in time?
Am I allow to start everything again?
He got out from his bed, opened the curtains, the burning feeling from the blazing sun told him that he is not dreaming at all.

He was once very smart till his family started to become wealthy, his performance was not very good at his final year. And even his dad sent him to a prestigious university, even though he graduated, he learnt nothing basically.
At the age of 25, his dad's company was attacked by Soren. The few trusted friends and relatives all betrayed him. The company had suffered a series of setbacks and the family was once again in trouble, his father committed suicide, his mother worked too hard, eventually died. After the lost of his parents, Gustav started to pick himself up but he knew that he was way too late.
Gustav tried to work hard, but being the son of his enemy, how could Soren let him go so easily. Under his influence and interference, no one dare to hire Gustav. If not for playing an online game called Fayth, he could not even afford food on a daily basis.
He knew he was dead regardless so he decided to bring Soren down with him. He thought he was dead for sure, but no one ever expected that time played a joke on him and allowed him to go back to the second year of his high school.
He knew that he had no way in contacting his Mom or Dad for now, but he is sure that they are still alive.

He remembered his parents would be returning in the next month or so, and therefore he is now home alone and it is summer time.
"The second semester of my second year of high school, that year, i remembered Fayth just came out," Gustav said to himself. That year, lots and lots of company started to put money into it and because of these huge funds consortia injection, Fayth developed drastic and it really deserved to become the second world.
Back then, he joined Fayth after he went to the new school. A close friend introduced him to it and when he joined, everyone was higher level than him. He missed out on the best opportunity to level and join the community, what he could do was to slowly chase after people's footsteps.
Memory of the old times, have been repainted. Those moments during game time was the most memorable of his life. He met a lot of friends in it and his life started to not be as boring as before.
Before the assassination of Soren, Gustav was once a level 180 Grand Shadow. He might not be the best but he could be included among the masters of reluctance.
Gustav suddenly think of it, he had a bank card in his drawer with his savings in it.

Since everything starts again. His life opened a new chapter. Since there is not enough capital for now, he can not do anything meaningful yet. He decided to start from the game. To those who played the game before, being a pro and to earn money from it would be very simple.

Eba liked to wear a white dress, beautiful and pristine. Her appearance has been deeply engraved in the hearts of Gustav for many years.
Gustav glanced at the clock on his wall, he is sure he can make it on time so he took the hundred dollar bill and rushed downstairs.
They lived in the countryside, it was very quiet and depressed. The weather in the afternoon is very hot, no one will be walking on the streets and you rarely see any vehicles.
