To run the risk of sounding cliche, this story takes place in a world unlike our own, yet devastated by war, nonetheless. The story (tries) to follow the course of the soldier Amory, who lives atop a castle that she has never left, training to kill with no inkling of why she is there. I'm scattered as shit about plot and pacing and paragraphs (that alliteration tho), but hopefully by putting the meager scraps that I have out there, I could get some direction on where to go with this.
