Kitty bit her lip, trying to remember the big tough word her mother used. Her friend Ria flashed an amused smile at her.

"Expensive?"

"Oh..." Kitty said sheepishly. "I really wanted a video game system like yours. Your Mom and Dad got you one...They didn't say it was too...er...expensive.

Ria looked away from her friend's eyes. She got everything that she wanted. Except a Mom and Dad together in the same house. Was that too expensive?
