公元2550年，一場不明的大災害將世界扭曲，無數人被捲入其中，地上出現了巨大裂痕，宛如怪物的巨鄂般將一切光明都吞噬。一夜之間，地上一切建築頓成頹垣敗瓦，於是完全政府成立了。五十年後，世界已經重新構築，都市浮於空中，居民亦分別居住在地上，以及天上。只有有價值的人，才會被選上，定居天空的烏托邦。然而，那真的是烏托邦嗎？世界轉變了，人們變得幸福，那真的是這個世界的真正面貌嗎？潛藏在黑暗中的惡夢正逐步被揭開......
