"Erunai? It's Beth."

"Hey, Beth. What do you want?"

"I don't want anything. We got a car!"

"You got a what?"

"A car!"

"A what?"

"A—I'm not an idiot."

"If you say so. Congratulations, anyway."

"Did you want to have a girls' day today? I want to drive the car for at least a little bit before love gets the chance to hog the car."

"Sure. Pick me up in an hour?"

"I can make it in forty-five minutes."

"All right. Are we just heading downtown?"

"Of course—Actually, we can go anywhere we want now. It's a new car, remember?"

"Okay. See you."

"See you!"
