The summer abdicates

Letting fall enter.

It begins.

Colour changes. 

Weather colder. 

In early hours

It gets darker.

Getting rich of colours. 

From various shades of green

To various shades of red and orange.

A play of colours 

Finds its way.

The last summer heat 

Takes a leave. 

Wind and rain

Instead of 

Sun and warmth.

People like it

- dancing in the rain

Between the leaves.

People hate it

- staying home

Cold and wet.

But. 

September. 

Is just the beginning.

And. 

Year after year .

It repeats itself.

Each year .

It may be a new wonder .
