Well. Only two people entered this contest in the end, which is a bit disappointing.

In the end, I have to give first place to Jonathan Jas - your story was beautifully written, and fit so well with your chosen track.

Thank you for your interesting premise, BashfulTrombone. It certainly intrigued me, but your basic errors let you down, I'm afraid. Work on it, and you'll be fine. ;)

I don't know how to award the first and second places to the challengers but I might have done it by the time you've read this.

Thanks to those who entered! And NOT to the people who became challengers and didn't actually bother to get a story in on time. -_-
