Now that Max is dead, the new generation of bird kids is losing hope. To solve that, scientists have made new mascots to replace the Flock, and with the power to control them, too. Sad for them, the prized bird girl escapes. Guess what, she's also a Minddrinker.

Ava Memory has never left the School before. She and her friend, Ian Kane, were created in the School and had lived there all their lives. That is until Ava leaves.

This takes place about 200 years after Nevermore, not accounting for Maximum Ride: Forever, and somewhere between the end time skip in the Third Minddrinker.
