Rooms without windows freak me out. In all honestly I haven't ever been in one until 8th period english of my freshman year of high school. Bathrooms don't always have windows but that's different, my bedroom is in the basement and I have a window well that is home to spiders and an occasional toad or rodent and yet I still feel better in there because a window is a window, and a window is an escape. I didn't know what I was getting into when I walked in that English room the very first day of high school. What freaked me out is that I had to sit in a room with an ex best friend, ex boyfriend, a past stalker, a boy who tried to kill himself, a jock, and a lot of band geeks for a whole 45 minutes for my last class of the day which puts the cherry on top of piled up emotions from the day already. Now to be honest I don't like saying band geeks cause I hate discrimination but my school is the classic stereotypical playground of white rich kids who live in one of the highest taxed towns in one of the highest taxed states and that's that. I should probably start by telling the back story of my history with these kids before I actually tell you why I want to document this.
