　　某個遠離聯邦的偏遠村子，有着和吸血鬼有關的事蹟。這些超乎現實的生物確實會在那裏出現，並且威脅居民的安危。

　　十六歲那年的秋天，準吸血鬼獵人維爾接到了他的「畢業考試」，比誰都想變得獨當一面的他認為這是個不可多得的機會，義姐雪倫卻暗地擔心勤勞過頭的他。身為獵人的父親要他在過程中找出某些「真相」、掌握權勢的村長願意提供有條件的協助、仰慕維爾的村長千金則做出了出乎眾人意料的舉動……原本高危卻單純的這件事件，在眾人各懷鬼胎、利益輸送的前提下變得無比複雜。周旋在各人之間的維爾，為了守護最重要的家人而努力完成最初的目標；被守護的少女則為了結束這無益的糾紛而萌生了某種決心……使命與私心、人情與計謀彼此交錯，置身在這場衝突中心的年輕人們，將會如何回應自己的命運……？
