Emrys Bloom
Appearance/attire: Black top hat with a sky blue sash around the middle. Brown hair, his fringe sliding out beneath his hat- with lighter golden-brown highlights so when the sun catches it, it sets off his green-blue eyes. He wears a black suit jacket with a rose that changes colour in the lapel according to his emotions.
He is fine featured, appearing to just to be peaking into young adult. A mischievous grin colours his charming mouth, up past his slightly large fine nose to his high cheekbone. Eyes oval shaped like a cat, however with human irises and long black eyelashes. Tall – just over 6 feet, with long, narrow feet. Is much like a stallion – appearing tall, dignified and powerful. However, like a horse his legs are his physical weakness - been seen with a limp now and again.
Personality/quirks: He’s kind hearted, often seen kneeling in a playground talking to children and making them laugh, or playing soccer with boys half his age (and often size). He is very intelligent; however has a lazy streak in him that causes heartache for those around him. Witty, funny and lovable, as he grew taller than his sister he enjoyed sitting on her suddenly as a sort of quirky endearment. A fiery temper and determination that if not checked will lash out and hurt those around him. He enjoys gentle teasing – wrapping up objects for Christmas that the receiver had lost months ago. Difficult, feral animals have a way of liking to him. He has a black and white cat that curls around his shoulders as he walks– however she likes few people and will scratch out the eyes of anyone who comes too close to her.

-A comforter, able to feel the emotions of others with a single touch, taking away their feeling of pain to be replaced with brighter, happier things.

Background: Emrys Bloom is a young man who never aged past the age of eighteen and nine months. He is a child’s imaginary friend, a protector, a rebel, someone to talk to. He was called back by the Lady White after a car accident that killed his family – unable to protect his older sister Cara or his toddler brother Joel. He became a child’s advocate, walking around shopping centers to help children find their parents. He often sits in police waiting areas with children who too lost their parents, or have stolen property. He has jumped fences to save children from drowning in pools and collected balls that were kicked over fences. He has the heart of a child that children respond to and trust. His rose is the part of his soul that keeps him bound to the earth.
One day, he hopes to plant it and return to his family.
