"That's it for today, guys!" Kaitlyn shouted after the band finished rehearsing their new song in the Hartfeld gang's living room.
"That was awesome. I say we'll be blowing everybody out of the water." Rachel commented.
"I agree. We've really been getting good ever since we formed our own band and started doing our own thing." Amara agreed.
"You guys are really fun to play with. Thanks again for letting me join your band!" Annisa piped up excitedly.
Kaitlyn chuckled. "Don't thank us. You're really good on the keyboard. We're lucky to have you." She told her.
Annisa giggled.
"Anyways, I gotta get going. I told Darren I would meet up with him after practice." Amara said.
"And I gotta catch up on some sleep. Later." Rachel said as she packed up her things and left.
"See you guys." Amara said as she waved goodbye to Kaitlyn and Annisa after packing up her things.
Annisa waved goodbye to her two band mates then she looked at Kaitlyn. "Looks like it's just us."
Kaitlyn smiled and nodded. "Looks like it. Hey, do you want to stick around and hang out? Most of my friends are out doing their own thing and I don't have any plans right now." She offered.
Annisa perked up. "Oh? All you guys don't hang out?" She asked.
Kaitlyn shrugged. "Chris and Zig are busy with the football team, Zack is...well I actually don't know what he usually does, I think Becca might be out terrorizing the campus and MC is either with their honey or working on the Knightly News." She explained.
"Ohhh. That sounds...lonely." Annisa pointed out.
Kaitlyn gave her a soft smile. "It's not lonely because I have my awesome band mates that kick butt!"
Annisa giggled. "Me too. I'm happy to have you guys as friends and to get to know your friends better."
After packing up their things, Annisa and Kaitlyn headed to Kaitlyn's room to hang out for a bit. Annisa awkward stood as she looked around the room while Kaitlyn plopped down on her bed. "Have a seat." She gestured to the space on her bed.
Annisa walked over and politely sat down. This made Kaitlyn laugh.
"Annisa! Relax! You don't have to be so stiff here. We're band mates and friends now." She assured her.
Annisa smiled softly and relaxed her stiff shoulders. "You're right. Sorry." Annisa continued to look around Kaitlyn's room, amazed.
"Your room looks so cool. I love the color scheme." She complimented.
"Thanks! I think it fits me pretty well. Especially since I'm in a band now~" Kaitlyn said with a grin. "Anyways, I've realized we haven't gotten to know each other that much. You can ask me anything you want about me." She told her.
Annisa nodded then she looked off thoughtfully. "Hmm...Where do you live?"
"Texas." Kaitlyn replied.
"And what do you like to do? Besides playing in a band?" She asked.
"I love parties, shopping and gossip. Give me any of those three and I'll love you forever~" Kaitlyn replied.
Annisa giggled. "That's cute. I-I mean cool..."
Kaitlyn grinned then she scooted closer to Annisa.
"What about you? What do you like besides the keyboard and Kpop?" Kaitlyn asked.
Annisa's eyebrows lifted then she quickly looked away. "Oh...you know...stuff."
Kaitlyn raised a curious eyebrow at Annisa. "O...kay. Well, what are you into? Boys? Girls?"
"Huh!?" Annisa stared at Kaitlyn in surprise at the sudden personal question.
"Because for me, I used to be in the closet because I was worried about what my parents would think, but they completely accepted and supported me. My dad even bought LGBT themed mugs! I was so embarrassed when he showed them to my friends, but...I love him." Kaitlyn explained.
Annisa smiled softly. "Aww, Kaitlyn. Your parents sound wonderful."
Kaitlyn laid back in her bed, resting her arms behind her head. "Mhm! You didn't answer my question yet. Boys? Girls?"
"O-oh...umm..." Annisa gently messed with the braid in her hair, nervously.
Kaitlyn pouted. "How about we do a test?" She suggested.
"Hm? What kind of test?"
Kaitlyn grinned then she leaned forward while she stared at Annisa, watching her every move. Annisa awkwardly slowly leaned back, wondering what Kaitlyn was doing and that's when someone burst into the room.
