Hello readers!
It's now the start of a new month and to kick things off, we got 6 inches of snow. That's right, 6 inches over the course of just under 24 hours and everywhere closed for the day. Strangely enough, this current weather has given me some new story ideas but me being me, I'm feeling too scared to write them haha.
I've started sessions with a therapist at my University and am due to see him again this coming Monday. The next few weeks in general are going to be so rough for me as I am also getting tested for autism. Finally, after nearly 16 years of pain and heartache, I should hopefully be finding out clear answers to help me plan out my life and rest of this year altogether.
Taking a break has been a little rough, writing about depression is not easy when most of the time, you are constantly thinking about negative thoughts. I really want my writing to do well this year. Not fall backwards again like last year and the years before last year. Time is truly not on my side!
On a good note, I did win a Penana writing contest hosted by another user! This was a step in the right direction and am keeping an eye out for more writing prompts in the future to have fun with. I'm also pleased with the reads that my works have been getting, although comments are still slow to appear.
