A dull hope, fading and shrinking, calling my broken bones 

I am from a dark place that dared to seek out light

A place that beckons bruised bodies to rest and sleep

Tired eyes drooping in anticipation 

Where the Lion feasts and the Lamb serves

Broken and unstable

I've come from 

Somewhere

Inside

A place that

No longer

Abides

To the rules

That hide

The lies
