It was as if everything happened in slow motion. I looked up to see that we were approaching a tree that was going to collide directly on my side of the car. And as fast as lightening, Crimson’s muscular, tan arms shot out and enveloped me in them, taking the harsh impact of the blow. The tree smashed into the front of the car and shattered the glass. I got whiplash from my head knocking the back of my seat quickly and my vision quickly began to turn dark.
