It has been three years since I moved in with my aunt. Everything was okay. It wasn't hard to adjust to my new surrounding. And I got to admit, I fell inlove with this mansion from the start.
It has atmosphere of serenity and freedom. Such beauty this house is. I've entered every room and memorized every corner. Everything. Except for the door ar the end of the second floor hallway.
It was a black wooden door and it was always close. One time too many, I've leaned on the door, trying to hear anything that might give me the idea of what's inside. But I couldn't hear anything.
One day, I was just about to give up when I saw the door slightly open. And curiosity beamed in my face. I tip toed towards the door. Not wanting anyone to see me inside the door they were tryin to hide from me.
I knew my smile was wide. Very wide as walked nearer and nearer the door. My heart pumping wildly in my chest from sear excitement.
And as my hand rest on the door knob, I took one big gulped of air and held my breathe. Then pulled the door open in one swing.
Gold. Mountains of gold. A coffin. A mutant. And wooden chests containing gems.
That's what I expected to see inside. But it wasn't. Instead, I found myself face to face with a brick wall.
