曾幾何時，港產電視劇、電影都是膾炙人口的經典。
不知怎地，港人不再追看港劇也不再走入電影院欣賞港產片。也許，因為日劇韓劇荷里活大片的衝擊，或是歸咎於科技與互聯網發展所衍生的盜版問題，再不然就是電影素質、劇集水平參差不齊。
造成香港媒體業衰退的原因比比皆是，可是能使業界起死回生的方案卻一直未見成效。

除了每年賀歲的港產片，筆者本人也甚少觀看港產片。不過，自從亞洲電視倒閉、有線電視賣盤，部分港人開始醒悟了。與其無視本港媒體創作的問題，把責任都推到其他事物上，倒不如透過支持銳意創新的電影激發復甦潮流來得乾脆吧。
