He swung the curved blade down at her as she jumped back in time to dodge, allowing him to slam into the ground hard. When the dust from the crash cleared there was wind surrounding underneath him which cushioned his impact. She looked up and saw the dragon had flown closer to the city and was charging lightning in its mouth. “Stop!” she screamed digging her heels in as she changed direction, racing towards the city and the dragon as wings shot out of her back. The dragon shot out its attack the second her shield was up and the lightening shoved her back while she adjusted the curves of the flames, trying to direct the lightning back at the beast and at the ground. Some bolts struck and caused damage to the ground and trees. None of them, to her dismay, were able to be shot back at the beast. She grunted as she tried to stay her place in the air but was being pushed back more. After just moments she had to drop the flames and at the same time she darted out of the way. The remainder of the lightning struck a building and sent the people screaming and running for shelter. Alura made a rough landing with a hard thud and stumbling. She didn’t get time to catch her breath until Talon was on her and swinging his weapon down at her. Back in the city, Marenzo was trying to find that demon after he had lost sight of Alura and wanted them after he saw the dragon. He cursed under his breath and ran towards the Inn and ran upstairs fast. “What are you doing?!” Trim asked quickly with no answer given by the wizard. He ran up and into their room, grabbed Alura’s bag and ran back out, using bursts of teleporting to exit the Inn sooner. Marenzo managed to get himself free of Talon’s winds that had been playing a game of ‘keep off the ground’ and shook his head. “No, no, no, no this is bad.” He moved towards them as he noticed the look in Alura’s eyes and recognized it as the same look she had when it came to his mother. “Bad! Bad! This is bad!” he muttered quickly under his breath as he tried to think. He looked up and saw the dragon was taking out demons left and right with its lightning, talons, tail and wings. Talon started charging an ice spell which was causing the ring to start cracking the more he charged the powerful spell. He hissed in pain as his face twisted with eyes closing. The dragon released his attack as did Marenzo just as the ring shattered into dust. The wizard fell back and was out of breath on the ground, struggling to make his body move to see if it worked. The two forms of magic met and exploded in a bright light and very loud sound, a third noise entering as well as Talon leapt back snarling.
