Star looked towards the sound of a stone door opening as Father Void's horn was glowing. He tensed and angled himself as best he could by stepping away from the pillar so the chain was taunt. Quickly out charged an angered and hungry mantecore. Star moved closer to by a couple steps to the column as it ran up, maw opened to bite Star and, as it came down with is jaws, Star darted out to make the chain taunt once again. The sharp teeth came down hard, snapping the metal leash and allowing him to stumble to the side before jumping back as the beast gave a roar.
