Unfortunately, I have two classes without them. So here I am, currently sitting alone outside the cafeteria. After ordering a can of soda I headed out, never really tolerating cafeteria noise--- or any other noise, for that matter.

Unfortunately for me, there's someone occupying my spot. Yep, I can get territorial when I wanted to. He had his back on me, but the puffs of smoke drifting from his mouth told me that he was smoking.

I turned my head away when the thought entered and searched for a spot instead.
I began walking as I saw an available spot, walking as if I didn't notice him. He turned his head my way after a moment, finally noticing tha he's not alone anymore.
I carried on ignoring him.

The can of soda was now empty, and the bell would ring in ten minutes. Gripping the empty can my eyes fell close, just feeling the warm sun hitting my face, the wind freely caressing my hair. I longed to let everything go. To be free, like the wind.

Ten minutes must have passed, for I heard the bell ringing, the students scrambling towards their next class, others continued goofing around as if the bell never rang.
I stayed in my spot. Didn't move.

That is, until a faint smell of smoke once again assaulted my senses, and I opened my eyes. The smoker guy stood in front of me, with an unreadable expression masking his face. But that's not what grabbed my attention. Now that he's facing me I can finally see his face. His eerily familiar face.

He never got the chance to say his answer. A professor called us out, accusing us of cutting and scurrying off to scare another group of students. For some reason, my palms started sweating---a tell-tale sign of nervousness--but not because of the anxiousness of receiving detention.
