受過情傷的梨花不再相信愛情，化身「帶刺薔薇」遊戲人間 。某次她宿醉動粗，事後發現挨打的耿直男子鐘興明竟是公司新任上司 。鐘興明對她一見鍾情，用無微不至的包容與體貼試圖融化她的心防 。此時，當年不告而別的前度突然現身乞求復合 。  梨花在鐘興明的安全感與對前度的執念間拉扯，最終選擇重投前度懷抱，卻再次抓包對方劈腿 。徹底死心的梨花看清自己只是耽溺於過去，且無法勉強自己愛上鐘興明 。為了不再互相傷害，她毅然辭職搬家，切斷所有牽絆 。  她來到墾丁打工換宿，在獨處中拔除心底的刺，找回純粹的笑容 。當她放下武裝，終於在海灘與一位陽光男孩邂逅，重新迎來真正動心的愛情開端 。
