1863，公共租界。雜誌社攝影師微光接下一樁幾乎不可能的差事——去找一個從沒被拍過、臉上據說有傷、連一張照片都沒有的銀行千金，安冷凝。

她以為這只是一次任務。她沒想到，鏡頭對上的那一刻，快門就再也停不下來。

一個用相機記錄世界的人，和一個把自己活成謎的人。她們在雨裡擦藥，在暗房裡顯影，在那個不容許兩個女子相愛的時代裡，偷偷把彼此沖洗成這輩子最捨不得丟的一張底片。

然後，是一場設計、一艘船、一片不屬於她的戰場。微光帶著仇恨回來了，卻發現五年前她以為看清的「真相」，正在一塊一塊往外掉——

愛情，在那個時代，是戰火底下最先被犧牲的東西。
而有些人，願意用餘生，只為把那張不老的底片，重新洗清楚。
