北海沙丁魚其實是我國中時期隨便想到的遊戲ID，因為聽起來感覺就會紅，就直接拿來當筆名了。

一方面也是不喜歡有關自己的事物存在既定的意義（非常存在主義），感覺如果當初用了什麼很有特定意涵的筆名，我就會陷入筆名帶來的框架之中。

順道一提，不知道各位有沒有經歷過這種體驗，就是某個小說人物的名字一開始聽著很普通，在閱讀過作品後卻會覺得：「哇，這個名字真好聽，取得真好。」我希望北海沙丁魚也能帶給其他人這種感覺。

總之比起一個有內涵脈絡的筆名，我好像更喜歡筆名本身只因我而有意義。（滿滿的個人美學🤣
