Just as Karu and Karde broke free of their earlier restraints and were about to sneak up on stage and detonate The King and throw cards respectively, new strings caught their wrists and yanked them apart as far as humanly possible. But was Laurellia satisfied yet?

Then, Piper starts playing Kyoufuu All Back using her recorder and rats start flying towards Ryla and Runice.
“Ugh! Why are you doing this?” Ryla asked in frustration.
“We’re the antagonists in your story! Why would we not? You’re basically asking why water is wet!” Laurellia jeered.
“But I styled my hair so nicely today! Not only are you guys ruining it with wind, you’re also sending those gross creatures at me!”

“Uhm… sorry for that. But it was my job to. I broke free with my strength and helped her with it too. And uhm… you got distracted,” Karu said, then showed her a king chess piece.
BOOM! There was another explosion. The chess piece was gone and there was nothing but smoke left.
“Cough! Cough! Cough! Those bombs I swear!”
At the same time, Ryla and Runice were fighting Piper and her power-summoned rats. Ryla used her power to check the rats’ directions and told Runice where to dodge and get closer to Piper. But after 5 minutes, they were already tired from it and hid behind some chairs.
