Musical groups host a show to celebrate the appearance of the new heroes of Smilestown!

Time: 3:00pm – 4:30pm
Venue: Laughter Musical Theatre (Stage Y)

Ryla: Hey guys! Should we go watch this show? I heard they made it for us! And the performers are famous! It’s the Meta Dancers!

Karu: I saw it on my phone this morning. Yes. Should we go to watch it?

>voice transcript: they wanted to invite you to a show hosted by 3 stage performance groups. The show is about what happened yesterday. Do you want to join them? I can’t go tho. I’m busy today. I need to hand in my report of last week’s incident when I cut my patient open and crushed their intestines to heal their broken arm. They’re completely healthy now but I’m on the verge of getting expelled from The Medical University of Smilestown. They say Med U students are good but look at me. Ugh.
Cyde: okai I well go dar (okay I will go there)
Soon, it was 2:50pm, they gathered in front of the theatre and went in after everyone arrived. They hurried into the theatre, got their tickets checked, found their seats, and sat down just in time.
“Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to our show. I am Laurellia. The Conductor of our mini orchestra, as well as your host for today, and also acting as Nyap, the sleeping guy who basically just slept through the whole fight. So here’s our cast: This is Shina, our pianist. This is Aeryl, the lead singer and actress. She will be playing the hero who brings tears,” she points at a girl wearing the same outfit as Chris’s hero attire, the only difference being the material used, “This is Kerena, the duet singer, who will be playing as the hero in black. She’s Piper. She plays the flute. Anddddd, Candyce. She’s the one who plays the violin. These are the other 2 parties,” pronounced a young girl, about the age of Ryla’s, wearing a swallowtail suit.
“We are the Meta Dancers and they are the Actors of Bremen. This show is sponsored by TOH Corporation,” said a blonde woman with blue eyes and freckles over her upper cheeks, probably in her twenties, wearing a blue outfit similar to the lead singer’s, though slightly more revealing, with a blue bandeau that was mainly blue with yellow on the bottom right corner and a matching blue and yellow sleeveless jacket with a hood over it. She also wore shorts with the same style as Ryla’s and similar arm warmers but with yellow on the side instead. She had black high-heeled boots with, again, yellow on the rim, “I am Nere, or Meta Nere, and I will be playing the hero leader.”
“I’m Meta Hani, you can call me Hani. I’m not from Smilestown but I love performing in here so I joined Nere’s dance group. I will be playing the camera girl in the hero group. I hope you like my performance!” Said Hani, a girl with a similar outfit to Aerbice, with a slightly different color palette, which was green, red and black. The jacket, a replacement for the bolero, and the top were red, the skirt, made of two parts connected by a black belt, had a piece of red fabric and a green fabric on the left and right sides respectively. (This character is inspired by one of my dance performances before. The dance was from one of China’s minority groups known as the Hani people. These people worship the Silver Pheasant bird and use them as a guide when they have to relocate. Therefore, I wrote Akako and Aoko as her friends whom she met in one of her dance performances, later joined her and eventually found Nere and formed a dancing group)
Two similar looking women went up to the stage and spoke, “We are the Meta fox twins.”
“I am Akako, a fox-human yokai hybrid with fire powers.”. I will be playing the UNO card using hero,” said the woman in a white dress akin to Chris’s, the only difference being the material.the same outfit as Qrent, which she probably bought from SmileMart.
“And I’m Aoko, Akako’s twin sister.
“And I’m Aoko, Akako’s twin sister with ice powers. I will be playing the hero who plays scrabble,” Aoko said, wearing the same clothes as Akako.
“Ok. We are the Actors of Bremen. I’m Ru. Y’all probably know that I’m the exposed magician who got caught using a power to teleport objects. Yup. That’s me. Call from the Rooftop. But hey, my acting’s legit and I’m starring…” There was a short pause until she continued her sentence, building up the tension and excitement to hype up the audience, “Vince! The invincible yet very compliant villain!”
“I’m Don. The person I’m acting as is Flai and Ru will be using her power to teleport me upwards in order to recreate the scene of Flai flying.”
“I’m Kat. Starring as Hype.”
“I’m Canni. Starring as Tox.”
After everyone on stage introduced themselves, they went to the backstage and the curtains closed. After about 5 minutes, they reopened and spawned setups made of cardboard and mimicked the interior of Saloon Salon.

Nere: Today, we are here to take down the enemies of Smilestown! We shall hunt down the Squad One villains and defeat them
Kerena: Yeah! Let’s find them!
Hani: I will take pictures of them and reveal their evil intentions!
Akako: Let’s go!
Aoko: Yes brother!
Nere: (singing) I wish to be a hero, saving the world, saving the day! Stop the villains from doing evil, and taking your smile away!
Aeryl: (singing) I wish to be a saviour, helping the town, helping around! Make you feel happy and sleep safe and sound!
Hani: Expose their ill deeds! Reveal their poor ways!
Aoko: Never let them harm the innocents,
Akako: or achieve their goals!
Don: (drops from mid-air) Muahahaha! It’s time for me to ruin your day and wipe that smile off your face! Muahahahahahahaha!
Ru: (appears from behind Don) And I’m Vince! The invincible, the indestructible, the unmatched, ULTIMATE VILLAIN! MUAHAHAHA!
Laurellia: And don’t forget me! Nyap! The one who makes time faster by sleeping! Ok now that I’ve introduced myself, it’s time to sleep and waste your time. (Gets off stage and starts flicking her conductor’s baton)
Music is played and sounds of violin and piano are heard
Nere: (singing) Time to be a hero! Defeating our foes and rescuing friends!
Kerena: (singing) Time to be helpful! Overcoming troubles together with our friends!
Ru: But is this what you want? To live… in such a way? To be fake… in such a day?
The conductor waves her baton vigorously and the music starts sounding ominous and filled with sudden tension.
Don: (singing) Don’t you think the society’s a little unfair?
Canni: (singing) Acting like we matter? But those power-wielders are the peak of this hierarchy? (walking up to Nere, who is currently playing as Ryla)
Kat: (singing) Maybe you should reconsider, before simply attacking us without a single thought?
Music stops
Nere: Don’t say that! You are evil! And we, as heroes, must stop you from hurting citizens!
Hani: We will find out your intentions and call the cops on you!
Music continues
Aeryl: Evil? Good? Evil? Good? Is there truly anything like that?!
Akako: (slow rap verse) I’m so tired from this week’s work! I have to wear a smile on my face and fight my deadlines like a race! And I spent my money on my taxes, now they’re gone without a trace! (Singing) Yet I… a hard-working employee, a capable co-worker, a helpful assistant, earns less than the ones with connections.
Aoko: (singing) We, both have powers too, yet why are we, why are we seen as unimportant, unintelligent, unworthy? Do those who know important figures, matter much more than actual capabilities?

“Ryla! Ryla! Something’s wrong! They’re playing as us but they’re acting like the villains! I have a bad gut feeling about this,” Runice whispered agitatedly.
“Relax. They’re probably just acting like normal adults and taking their anger out on the villains. Plus, we’re famous now. Let’s just chill and enjoy our victory show,” she replied without caring about the obvious abnormalities.
The musical continued and Runice continued to have a sense of unease. She ignored it and reassured herself by thinking that it’s just a feeling of hunger that came from skipping breakfast.

Aeryl: Goodness and evil… before all these nonsensical moralities existed, weren’t we all just trying to exist and survive with our skills? (singing) Is there truly anything called “good” and “evil”? Or are they just conceptualized by losers who can’t survive on true capability and rely on their so-called morals to guilt trip others who are better than them. Why are humans living in groups yet surviving as an individual? Can’t we all just drop this pretentious nonsense and just admit to being too weak to face things or stop pretending to be weak like the others and just live on your own?
“Ryla! It’s bad! They’re all asleep! The audiences! It wasn’t just a bad feeling! And- and her lines they- they aren’t lines of a hero! Karu! Karde! We’re the only ones now! Somethings wrong with them!”
