Welp, I had this idea randomly appear in my head back in class in 2018, and I brainstormed some ideas, basically, a sort of Metriodvania style video game a la Dust: An Elysian Tail (which is a good game, cheap and charming) and heavily influenced by the Castlevania games (and Devil May Cry, and Guilty Gear, and Resident Evil, and a lot of influence, not just video games). But as I went along I realized, I don't know jack about coding, programming, game design, or anything that requires techincal knowledge. So, going off of writing I liked to do when I was younger, along with some classes in college to help get me started/more accustomed to writing, I'm working on this as a personal project. Something to cross off the bucket list and achieve. Thanks to some advice books (How to Write by Neil Black), I managed to cobble together some chapters in a several months doing at least 30 minutes of writing a day. But life has a way of colliding with plans, so I haven't been able to have the time to write in months. I plan to come back to it, but for now, I can slowly but surely share what chapters I do have to see how people respond, and to improve in the future.

Basically, I envisioned this story from the basic framework of "boy meets girl", in this case "man meets vampire", and figuring out what kind of conflicts and scenarios that could arise, both with each other and what they might encounter together. If all goes well, which is a long shot, I'm aiming to do sequel stories as well, but I'm not gonna get ahead of myself just yet. If you are interested, by all means, step into 17th century Central Europe, with the supernatural stirring and powerful forces seek to claim what they see theirs. The story begins with a lonely vampire fleeing for her life, to cross paths with an unfortunate man.......
