I just love drama club.
I know it's not a main subject, but it's worth talking about. Everyone gets a script, so you know what to do next. Unlike life, where you are equipped with the most unpredictable scenarios and people (I'm looking at you, Elon Musk).
It feels so free being part of the drama club. I get to be someone else for a time period, someone that's not me. It feels like interacting with the world from a new pair of eyes.
In my drama club, everyone supports each other, no matter who screws up and who doesn't, unlike in my soccer club, where we all just ramble about whose fault it is that we lost the game to a bunch of giant high schoolers.
You don't have to be "good" at theatre to move on, or it doesn't matter if you're good at theatre to enjoy it. In arithmetic, we're expected to be at least decent at it. It's hard to enjoy math when you can't understand it.
Of course, it can also be hard to understand theatre, but that's simply the beauty of it.
