「我不能想像沒有知勳的人生！」

「你不是正在想像嗎？」

「……。」

「你知道平衡時空嗎？」

「……就是另一個我們，在不同的地方和時間，以另一個身份活着的意思嗎？」

「是的。」

「那我可能是美國NBA的籃球明星，而知勳是日本修讀工程的大學生？或者我是東南亞的農夫，而知勳是法國百年菜館的廚師？」

「這也挺有趣。」

「但那樣我們就不會相遇了。」

「不。」李知勳抬頭望向窗外的月光。「我相信，不管在哪個時空、在什麼故事設定裏，我們都會遇上的。」

「……知勳……我好想你！」

「……我也是。」

在一個滿月的夜晚、處身部隊的寂靜中，權順榮和李知勳像往常一樣，用短訊聯繫著。已經入伍快一年了，分離的日子過得漫長而艱難。

李知勳沒有告訴權順榮的是，在所有能想像的平衡時空裡，他最喜歡的還是現實的這一個——這個他們將繼續一起寫下去的故事。
