Biel’s mind was filled with a dense, mysterious atmosphere as the door slowly creaked open, emitting a sharp groan that echoed through the void. From the darkness emerged a female figure, her long silver hair dancing softly as she walked with grace. Her eyes glowed with an intense violet hue, filled with melancholy and mystery, yet possessing an ethereal beauty that took his breath away.
Biel felt his heart stop for a second. Who... who is this beautiful girl? he thought, unable to look away. But at the same time, a shiver ran down his spine. The atmosphere had completely shifted; her aura began to overshadow everything. The darkness surrounding her seemed to swallow the light, and her serious expression intensified the somber feeling.
"W-what is going on!?" Biel exclaimed, instinctively taking a step back.
Monsfil, watching everything unfold, narrowed his eyes. "I don’t like this... That presence is dangerous. We must stay alert."
Suddenly, the girl broke into a wide smile, her violet eyes shining with unexpected joy. She stretched as if she had just woken from a long slumber and exclaimed in a sweet, melodious voice:
"Finally! I’m finally out of that dark place! Ah, what a wonderful liberation!" Her voice overflowed with happiness, and her face now reflected pure, childlike glee.
Biel stood completely perplexed. Wait... what? Wasn’t she some dark, malignant entity? Why does she seem so happy... and so adorable?
The girl spun on her heels and reached her arms out into the air, taking a deep breath. "Ah! So this is the mind of my dear Bearer. It smells so... empty? Well, it’s my home now!"
"W-what did you say!?" Biel shouted, unable to contain his shock.
Monsfil stepped forward, his imposing presence trying to counter the girl’s aura. "What do you mean by 'dear Bearer'? Are you another Demon King sealed millennia ago?"
The girl placed a hand over her mouth and giggled softly, as if Monsfil had just told an absurd joke. "Me? A Demon King? Hahaha! No, of course not! I am no Demon King."
Monsfil looked at her with distrust. "Then... who are you?"
The girl placed her hands on her waist and smiled with pride. "I am... The Fragment of the Infinite!"
Deathly silence followed. Biel’s jaw nearly hit the floor, and Monsfil’s eyes widened so much they almost popped out of his skull.
"WHAAAAAT!?" they both screamed in unison.

Biel remained stunned, processing what he had just heard. "You... you are... the Fragment of the Infinite? The very same one I touched so long ago that brought me to this world!"
Aine nodded excitedly, her silver hair swaying gently. "Exactly! I was the one who brought you here, dear Biel. Your aura was so... distinct and special. I knew you had to be my Bearer!"
"Dear!?" Biel felt a heat rise to his cheeks. "Hey, wait a minute. So you chose to bring me here? And why me?"
Aine placed a finger on her chin, thoughtful. "We Fragments are ancient entities that guide The Sent on their path. Each of us contains the power of everything. We are Higher Entities tasked with being guides. But with you... something very strange happened."
Monsfil crossed his arms. "Something strange? What do you mean by that?"
Aine sighed, puffing out her cheeks in an adorable pout. "When I brought you to this world, I couldn't wake up with you. Something interfered, and that’s why I couldn't be with you from the beginning, dear Biel."
Biel frowned. "So... that 'something' was what kept you sealed?"
"Yes. Even now, I don't know what or who did it. But because of that, I couldn't talk to you or help you. I could only feel everything that happened to you." Her eyes filled with melancholy. "It was very lonely..."
Biel felt a knot in his stomach seeing her expression. "Hey... Aine..."
But Aine quickly regained her energy, smiling again. "But that doesn't matter anymore! I’m here now! And I’ll be with you forever!" With that, she clung to Biel’s arm, hugging him tightly.
"W-wait, what are you doing!?" Biel turned bright red, looking at Monsfil for help.
Monsfil raised an eyebrow, amused. "It seems your Fragment is quite... affectionate."
"Don't look at me like that!" Biel shouted in embarrassment.

"So, Fragment of the Infinite... Aine..." Biel said. "If you chose me, why didn't other fragments choose my sister Charlotte or my friend Yumi? And what about my friend Bastián? What happened to him? According to the Old Man, the Fragment chooses the people."
Aine nodded seriously. "The case of Charlotte and Yumi is special. They were sent here by the God of Creation. But regarding Bastián... I know nothing. I was sealed the moment you arrived in this world. I have no idea who or what sealed me."
Biel sighed, scratching his head. "Vaya... so that's what happened... Then, if you hadn't been sealed... would I have had other abilities?"
Aine nodded happily. "Yes! But fate decided things would be different. Even while sealed, I could feel your power. I could feel when you died..." Her expression darkened, her eyes filling with sadness. "I was so sad because I couldn't do anything to save you..."
Biel watched her, surprised by her sincerity. "Aine..."
She nodded, her eyes shimmering with unshed tears. "But when you came back to life... I was so happy! I jumped for joy, even though I was sealed! And now that the door has been opened... I will be with you forever!" She smiled radiantly, hugging Biel once more.
Biel turned even redder, his heart racing. "W-wait, not so close! M-Monsfil, say something!"
Monsfil let out a hearty laugh. "I have nothing to add. This is more entertaining than I expected."
"It’s not funny!" Biel yelled, trying—and failing—to free himself from Aine’s embrace.
Aine laughed joyfully. "I’m so happy to be with you, dear Biel! I promised I would guide and protect you! And I don’t plan on breaking my promise!"
Biel sighed in resignation but couldn't help a small smile. "I guess... you won't be so bad... Aine."
Aine glowed with happiness. "Yes! We’ll be the best partners! Ah, I’m so happy!"
As Aine laughed and Monsfil watched with amusement, Biel felt an unexpected warmth in his heart. Maybe... just maybe, this mischievous Fragment wouldn't be such bad company after all.
Aine sighed deeply, looking at Biel with a serious expression for the first time. "There is something else you must know... In this world, the only being with advanced sealing techniques is... that guy."
Biel blinked, confused. "That guy? Who are you talking about?"
"The only being with sealing magic that powerful is... Void Lurker."
"Void Lurker?" Biel repeated; the name sounded strange and ominous.
"Void is an entity born just like us, the Fragments," Aine explained. "He emerged in primordial times. His purpose was to train the Fragments to guide the Sent who would come to this world in the distant future. He is... like my master, so to speak."
Biel’s eyes went wide. "Your master!? You mean an entity as powerful as you has a master!?"
Aine nodded, puffing out her cheeks. "Hey, don't say it like that! You make me look like a rookie!" She crossed her arms with an adorable pout. "Though... I don't think he was the one who sealed me. It makes no sense... but if it was him... why would he do it?"
Monsfil, who had remained silent, frowned. "I have never heard that name. And I have spent millennia in this world."
Aine smiled mysteriously. "It’s to be expected. The existence of the Primordial Entities and the Fragments is hidden. Only a few know the truth about us."

Biel scratched his head, trying to absorb everything. "So... wait. You said... Primordials? Does that mean there are more beings like Void Lurker?"
"Yes!" Aine nodded excitedly. "In this world, there are 14 Primordials. Their names are: Aether Sovereign, Void Lurker, Nyx Revenant, Sylva Evergloom, Infernal Tyrant, Abyss Dreadlord, Celestial Harbinger, Duskborn Phantom, Zephyr Warden, Noctis Doomcaller, Thalrion Stormbringer, Lunara Voidseer, and Gravemourn Omen."
Biel’s head was spinning. "Fourteen!? And where are they all?"
Aine shrugged. "They are distributed between this universe and... the Megaverse."
"Megaverse? Is that like... a giant universe?"
Aine giggled. "Exactly! The Megaverse is another universe, but much larger than this one. Though... I know very little about it. I only know it is immense and that over a thousand gods exist there."
Biel felt a chill. "Over... a thousand gods?" His jaw dropped. "How is that even possible!? That’s insane!"
"Compared to this universe, where there are only a few gods, that place is vast and full of deities. It’s like an endless party of all-powerful beings."
Biel fell to the floor, completely overwhelmed. "Over a thousand gods... in a giant universe... I think... my head is going to explode..."

"Well, enough talk," Aine said with a playful smile. "It’s time for you to wake up, dear Biel. Your friends are worried about you."
Biel nodded, looking at Monsfil and then at Aine. "You're right. I can't stay here forever... Well, I guess I’ll see you later."
"Until next time, young Bearer," Monsfil said calmly.
"Yes, what Monsfil said! See you soon!" Aine’s gaze softened, but something in her eyes seemed to hide a secret. Biel said nothing. He waved goodbye and closed his eyes, letting his consciousness return to the real world.
...
When he opened his eyes, Biel blinked as his senses slowly returned to normal. He was lying in a comfortable bed, the room silent and bathed in dim moonlight.
"Eh? Where is everyone?" he murmured, scratching his head. "Did they leave me alone?"
He stretched, his body still somewhat numb. "Vaya, seems I slept a long time... and it’s already night."
Just as he was about to get up, he felt something soft and warm beside him. Biel slowly turned his head... and his eyes went wide as saucers as he saw a girl asleep next to him. Her long silver hair shimmered under the moonlight, and her peaceful, adorable expression made his heart skip a beat.
"Wait... what... WHAAAAAAAT?!" he screamed, his voice echoing down the hallway.

In seconds, the door burst open. Yumi, Charlotte, Easton, and Acalia came running in, their faces full of worry... until they saw the scene.
Charlotte covered her mouth with both hands. "B-Biel... who is that girl... and why is she sleeping with you?"
Easton grinned mischievously. "Well, well! So you were enjoying some good company while we were worrying!"
Acalia crossed her arms, her gaze sharp as a knife. "Biel... you have five seconds to explain this."
"It’s not what it looks like!" Biel waved his hands frantically, his face bright red. "I... I just woke up and she was already here! I don't know who she is! Really!"
Suddenly, Yumi stepped forward, pointing a trembling finger at him. "Y-you unfaithful dog! How could you!? And right in front of everyone!?"
"Why are you acting like I did something wrong!? I don't even know her!" Biel protested, nearly in tears.
The girl beside him stirred, letting out a soft sigh. Everyone held their breath as she slowly opened her violet eyes and blinked sleepily. Seeing Biel, her face lit up.
"Ah, dear Biel! You’re awake!" she exclaimed happily, and before he could react, she hugged him tightly, nuzzling her face against his chest.
"WHAAAAAAAT?!" Biel turned red as a tomato, frozen in place.
Yumi was trembling with rage; her dark aura intensified. "You cheater! What kind of relationship do you have with this girl!?"
Charlotte blushed, looking away. "Biel... I didn't know you were so... bold..."
"You're my idol, Biel!" Easton laughed. "What a bold move!"
"This is getting out of control... as always..." Acalia sighed, hand to her forehead.
"H-hey! Let go of me!" Biel tried to free his arms. "Who are you!?"
The girl looked at him with an expression of pure innocence. "Eh? Don't you remember? It’s me... Aine!"
Silence filled the room.
"...Aine???" they all said in unison, their faces full of disbelief.
"C-how do you mean Aine!?" Biel felt the world spinning. "What are you doing here... and in human form!?"
Aine smiled sweetly. "Now that the sealed door has been opened, I can be by your side in physical form! We can be together all the time!"
Biel felt his face burn even hotter. "A-all the time...!? That sounds... problematic!"
"Problematic? But I thought you’d be happy... you always said you felt lonely!"
Yumi started trembling again. "Ah! Now it all makes sense! That’s why you were always acting weird! You had another girl on your mind!"
"Why on earth did you reach that conclusion!?" Biel screamed in desperation.
Easton wiped a tear of laughter. "This is, without a doubt, the best wake-up call I've ever witnessed!"
Biel could only let out a cry of despair as Aine clung to him even tighter.
