The Void King roared, a sound like a thousand dissonant instruments clashing at once. "You think two broken notes can stop the Silence? I am the end of all music!"
He raised his hands, and the sky began to rain Shadow-Beasts. Hundreds, then thousands, of the eyeless monsters poured from the Great Rift, forming a living wall of darkness between the tower and the city.
"Konone! Koko! Listen to me!" Mahiru’s voice projected from the ground, amplified by her golden aura. She was still kneeling over Yui, her hands glowing as she stabilized her friend. "The King is anchoring himself to this world through the discord of those monsters! As long as they exist, he is immortal. We have to clear the board—now!"
Koko looked at the sea of shadows, then at Konone. "The tempo is too fast for one person. We have to synchronize."
"On your lead, Prez!" Konone replied, her violet flames turning white-hot.
Koko closed her eyes for a split second, hearing the rhythm of the wind, the crackle of the fire, and the steady hum of Mahiru’s light. She raised her glowing gauntlet. "First movement: Allegro Furioso!"
Koko became a literal gale. She didn't just move fast; she created a vacuum of speed that sucked the Shadow-Beasts into a massive, swirling cyclone.
"Now, Konone! The bridge!"
Konone dove into the center of the cyclone. "Blazing Inferno: Grand Finale!" She released every ounce of her fire, turning Koko’s wind-vortex into a towering pillar of violet flame. The monsters inside weren't just burned; they were purified, their dark essence evaporating into harmless sparks.
On the ground, Mahiru saw her opening. She raised her Volt Sabre toward the sky. "Third Movement: Heavenly Cadence!"
Bolts of golden lightning shot from her blade, jumping from one monster to the next, chaining the explosion across the entire city skyline. It was a masterpiece of coordination. The fire consumed, the wind directed, and the light polished.
One by one, the rifts began to snap shut. The "Void Symphony" was being drowned out by the girls' harmony. As the final Shadow-Beast vanished, the eleven cards in Mahiru’s possession flew from her belt, orbiting the tower in a brilliant, multi-colored ring.
Koko held up the Twelfth Card—the Card of Speed.
"The scale is complete," Koko declared, her voice echoing with divine power.
The twelve cards merged into a single, blinding halo of gold that hovered above the tower. The Void King shrieked as his obsidian armor began to crack, his power drained by the absence of his monsters. The Great Heart Scale was ready. The battle was won, and the ultimate power to wish the world back to health was finally within their reach.
But as the girls gathered around the glowing halo, the air didn't feel victorious. It felt cold. Bitterly, unnervingly cold.18Please respect copyright.PENANAgNiOmRDNCb
