​在號稱「不夜城」的重慶大廈頂樓，有一間從不記錄在租約上的「404號房」。

職業「洗地人」（專門清理犯罪現場的邊緣人）阿強，收到了一份高額委託：清理一間滿是彈孔但「沒有屍體」的公寓。然而，當他推開門時，相機閃光燈突然自動亮起，每一聲快門響過，房間裡就會多出一枚帶著血跡的金色彈殼。

​這不是普通的槍擊案，這是一場跨越空間的「活人狩獵」。阿強發現自己被困在了相機的鏡頭裡，而那個拿著消音手槍的獵人，正透過觀景窗，瞄準他的心臟。
