The crumbling walls of Dunyu Ruins stretch long, twisted shadows beneath the setting sun, resembling the skeleton of a slumbering colossal beast. Once, the ancestors of Liyue mined fine jade here and carved the traces of civilization into the land; now all lies crushed under heavy iron hooves.
The dense ranks of the Oda army spread like an inky stain. Their armor glints with cold harsh light, spears stand as thick as a forest, sealing off the core of the ancient ruins without a single gap. Dust, gunpowder, and a faint scent of blood hang heavy in the air, pressing down on all who breathe.
Hosokawa Takafuji sits tall upon a magnificent black warhorse at the heart of his formation, clad in Nanban-dō gusoku armor with a katana at his waist. Sharp-featured, he wears the mocking smirk of a cat toying with a mouse, his gaze fixed firmly on the figures huddled against a massive shattered jade monument at the center of the encirclement. His white traveler’s garb is tattered all over, stained with mud and dark crimson blood. He stands unyielding at the forefront, shielding his companions behind him.
Behind him, Yun Jin grips her beloved Primordial Jade Winged-Spear tightly, its tip snapped off, leaving only a short broken shaft. Dirt smudges her elegant face, a fresh trail of blood lingering at the corner of her lips. Yet her eyes remain as sharp as they were on her first stage, locked onto the closing enemy lines.

“Shall we test whether my blade is sharp enough!” Losing patience, Hosokawa Takafuji waves his hand sharply.
“Advance! Slay them all!”
The final battle erupts in an instant. Roaring aloud, Aether weaves Anemo and Geo power in alternating bursts, his sword wind howling as he struggles to break the enemy formation. Using her broken spear as leverage, Yun Jin moves with unbroken agility, sweeping the shaft to strike the wrists and ankles of approaching ashigaru, eliciting sharp cracks of breaking bone.
Bracing herself to stand, Xinyan plucks her stringless instrument, letting out one final hoarse rock roar. A faint shockwave of Pyro power barely repels the enemies on the flank. Yae Miko drifts across the battlefield, fox spirit phantoms flickering around her. With each swing of her wand, precise bolts of lightning crash down, searing several Oda arquebusiers into charred, motionless corpses where they stand.
Still, the enemy vastly outnumbers them. The draining of stamina and elemental energy tightens around them like a strangling noose. A samurai captain spots an opening, swinging his heavy nodachi with a mournful whistle toward Aether’s back. Aether parries with his sword, but exhaustion overwhelms him. He staggers backward, a sweet iron taste rising in his throat as he spits another mouthful of blood.
“Aether!” Yun Jin cries out, desperate to rush to his aid, only to be pinned down relentlessly by two other samurai.
Xinyan tries to shield him with her body, taking a spear thrust to the shoulder blade from an ashigaru. She lets out a muffled groan, and the last embers of her rock fire flicker out completely.
A fierce glint flashes in Yae Miko’s eyes. She prepares to unleash a far stronger forbidden spell, disregarding her dwindling power — but Hosokawa Takafuji charges forth himself!
Spurring his warhorse, he draws his katana. A condensed crescent-shaped slash of dark blade force tears through the air, aiming not only at Aether but engulfing Miko, Yun Jin and Xinyan all at once. The killing, destructive will within the blade plummets the surrounding air into bitter cold.
There is nowhere to run.

Without warning, deafening thunder booms from the heavens. This is no ordinary storm; it carries the august judgment of divine might. A dazzling bolt of amethyst lightning pierces the firmament like a sword, striking dead-center onto Hosokawa’s fatal dark blade slash.
Lightning collides violently with blade energy, unleashing an earth-shattering roar and blinding radiance. The raging shockwave sends Oda soldiers tumbling wildly across the ground.
Hosokawa Takafuji’s face pales in shock. He reins his horse back, staring up at the sky in bewilderment.
As the lightning fades, a graceful yet nimble figure materializes out of thin air. Dressed in luxurious Liyue robes with flowing cloud-like hems, cat-ear ornaments adorning her head, her long purple hair tied into twin tails billowing in the wind. Her ancient longsword crackles with living Electro energy, illuminating her exquisite face now hardened with frost.
“Keqing!” Aether can barely believe his eyes.
At the same moment, a rain of ice lotuses descends from the sky. Countless translucent ice lotuses with razor-sharp edges materialize out of nowhere, whistling through the air like living projectiles, raining destruction upon the Oda archers and arquebus formations.

Screams ring out everywhere as Oda’s long-range forces suffer instantaneous catastrophic losses.
Amidst drifting ice lotuses and lingering lightning sparks, a slender blue figure stands silently atop a tall shattered jade pillar nearby. Elegant in bearing, with horns upon her head and a bow forged of frozen bloom in hand, her gaze calm and unwavering — it is Ganyu.

Yet his cry is answered by thunderous war roars erupting from the ruins, cliffs and dense forests surrounding Dunyu Ruins. Waves of soldiers clad in Liyue armor and wielding Geo spears surge forth. Swift and perfectly coordinated, they move in groups of three and five, stabbing like sharp daggers into the disorganized Oda ranks. These are no grand frontal army, but guerrillas seasoned in mountain and forest warfare — their arrival turns the tide of battle entirely.
The battlefield devolves into chaotic melee. Familiar with every inch of the terrain and fighting with fearless ferocity, the Liyue Guerrillas split and encircle the unprepared Oda army despite their numerical advantage.
Ignoring the chaos around her, Keqing steps forward in a flash of lightning to reach Aether’s side, steadying his swaying form. She feels his trembling and the thick stench of blood, her heart tightening — yet her expression remains unshakably resolute.
“Hold on, Aether.” Her voice carries unyielding authority, sweeping away his despair and confusion in an instant. “Listen closely. Over a million main troops of Liyue have gathered and fortified their positions around Yilong Harbor in Chenyu Vale. It is now an absolute safe haven. We must retreat there at once.”
Coughing violently, Aether lifts his gaze to meet Keqing’s amethyst eyes. He sees worry within them, but far more resolve and hope. Nodding heavily, he leans on her arm to steady himself.
“Chenyu Vale… Yilong Harbor…” He repeats the names, etching every syllable into his mind.
