故事以3074年為起點，皇帝太愛薇瑟爾，嘗試重現人偶技術，把死後的薇瑟爾記憶植入到克隆人偶裡，但每個薇瑟爾醒來後都精神錯亂然後自殺。


***世界背景簡介***

古代工程師們，改造了數百名青少年的基因，製造出自動人偶，使人類的生活逐漸仰賴自動人偶，生活只需玩樂。人類歷史也就此進入了「黃金時代」。2263 年自動人偶叛亂，統治者以自身性命消滅全部人偶，2637年結束黃金時代，進入苜灰時代。工程師留下了最後的克隆體:奧瑞利安，成為新皇帝，新皇帝不斷以克隆體重生，讓帝國繁榮與安定，不知從什麼時候開始，被國民稱為不死皇帝。

3018年，18歲的薇瑟爾舒恩與奧瑞利安相遇

3020年，薇瑟爾舒恩與奧瑞利安結婚

3068年，薇瑟爾舒恩死亡
